הכביש סגור.הדרך החלופית מובילה דרך יער, אשר דורש רישיון להיכנס.יש גם סימן על שער הכביש מציין כי רק רכבים 4WD מותר.

יש חודשים כאשר הכביש למחנה נסגר. ראה את התמונה. יש כביש חצץ יפה מאוד כל הדרך למחנה. אזור היער סביב הוא עכשיו אפוקליפטי מאוד. אבל ברגע שאתה במחנה, זה בסדר. יש 2x2 לשטוף שירותים עם סבון ומים. קופסת עם ד"ר מים. שטח שטוח רחב לחנות. מסלול לורק Flat. היה רק אותי ושני מחנות. מקומיים רבים עם כלבים שהלכו למסלול לרוץ, הם נסעו בחוץ במהלך היום. אחרת et מקום.

קצת מוסתר ומחוץ לכביש, לפעמים אתה לא בטוח אם אתה במקום הנכון או אם המקום הוא אפילו פתוח, אבל ברגע שאתה שם זה נחמד מאוד!! אזור פיקניק גדול עם הרבה מקום, כמה שירותים לשטוף כי הם גם בשירותים קבועים. הליכה קצרה אל המפלי (מפורסם). אין רשת טלפון סלולרי באתר עצמו, אז אתה צריך לנהוג בחזרה 5 דקות.

A fantastic space with lots of room to run and play. Flushing toilets and a waterfall (5mins away) followed by an well maintained hour bush walk. Thank you DOC & Southland Council. Lovely to wake up to song birds.

Looks like you need to access from Dunsdale way - from the west you’ll run into a closed road.

Still closed but with no closed signs until you get all the way there…

Went today just to see what it was like - closed - looks like a stunning place to stay - glad we didnt take caravan up as no room to turn - maybe signs should be put up beginning of road when closed or open

We stayed last night and it was very busy with families and groups presumably there for New Years. Massive flat area surrounded by bush, nice and secluded with no reception. Road in is rough but okay, would stay here again.
