חוויה מערה נחמדה מאוד! להיות מוכן ולהסתכל על הסימן DOC (ראה תמונות). מסומן היטב בתוך המערה, סימנים לבנים ללכת 1 ק"מ מהכניסה אל היציאה. (אם אתה מסתובב בעקבות הסימנים הצהובים כדי לחזור.) עד על המספר 19 זה לא כל כך קשה (והייבש). אז אתה צריך ללכת דרך "בריכה" - להישאר, היו לנו מזג אוויר יבש ורק להתייבש על הברכיים. לאחר מכן יש 3 מדרגות מתכת. היציאה היא ב מס' 25. השלמת הסיור כולו לקח לנו בערך 1-1,5 שעות.

מקום מדהים כזה. כיף לחקור. מצא מקום טוב לשבת ורק מדיטציה בחושך. גם כאשר אתה מגיע לאגם פשוט להמשיך ללכת דרך המים או סביב. יש יציאה בקצה כך שאתה לא צריך ללכת בחזרה כל הדרך.

The cave is just awesome and was the craziest thing we've ever done. I had a lot of respect for this tour. Re. the very large pool in the cave; Narrow Keep Left. We had to get in the water too, but kept very close to the edge on the LEFT and were waist-deep in water. But otherwise it is hardly possible to get to the other side. Good shoes are still a must in my opinion, at least up to the pools. This tour will stay with me forever as it's one of the craziest things I've ever done. The cave should not be entered before/during/after heavy rainfall, as this could also be fatal. And only walk the marked paths!

So great ! 2 lights per person, pool deep, 1 h return to the pool. Feeling privileged being there, but too many stupid persons writing on the speleo formations/ ceiling. Can't believe you can be that irresponsible.

Excellent place! Can flood so be careful. Torches a must!!! we went in today about 200 metres. Didn't get wet at all and saw Glow worms all around. My partner is claustrophobic so we didnt go all the way. But the first 200m you can walk/crouch and make it to the glow worms. For the more adventurous. Have at it! Fanstastic caves!

AMAZING! Such a must do if you’re keen on bit of an adventure. Can 100% back previous comments, it is defiantly a bit gnarly but so worth it. Be prepared to get wet but don’t let this stop you from going!! Personally I doggy paddled the pool and go up to my neck wet where my partner just walked around and only got up to his waist. Allow about an hour if you’re just taking your time and keen on some cool photos/videos. Be safe and enjoy!

A bit more adventurous than we expected thus it's not for everyone. If you're claustrophobic, you should avoid it completely. The route involves small rooms, a bit of climbing, some ladders and duck walking. Also getting across the large pool needs good sandals and some courage, you need to stick to the left side and be very careful. You'll get your legs wet anyway. But it's all worth it. You'll be rewarded by awesome views of the caves where you'll probably be alone. Glow worms are mostly in the first half. If you want to walk all the way through, allow 45-60 minutes or even more, depending on your fitness level and passion to make photos. Always be very careful and obey all the recommendations, especially the ones related to the weather. Enjoy

The best cave I visited in New Zealand! But don't let the cave fool you. It is a big cave with at least 300m to walk and it has 3 exits. Follow the marks, even if you think this is the wrong way. Sometimes you have to climb down into a hole between rocks, but it is definitely worth it! Take a picture of the map at the beginning, be prepared and if you want to go throught the pools, take swimwear, the first pool is at least 1m deep.

Totally recommended. Make sure to bring swimwear, so you can pass the pool (water goes up to the whips)
