The spot itself is good. Nice view over the lake and a working toilet (without paper, bring your own). Unfortunately we were harassed by the kids with the water filled balloons as well. Thx for the warning. Still, wasn’t very nice. We decided to stay, they came twice as well with an hour pause in between. Not a very relaxing stay for us though the rest of the night was quiet.

האמבטיה נקבעה, והמקום נחמד. למים היה טעם מוזר (הדומה לתחנת הדליקה) והיה רוח מאוד. עם זאת, בסביבות תשע בערב, קבוצה של כשישה ילדים התעייפו והתחילו לתקוף עם בלונים מים ולפוצץ את המכונית. לאחר סיבוב השני שלהם של עתיקות, החלטתי לעבור למגרש המכוניות Opunake Recreation Ground במרכז העיר, שם היה שקט.

SC only so didn't stay here

The toilet is still under construction, so right now it's not a very comfortable place to spend the night.

The toilet was demolished on 23rd Feb 2026 and is currently being rebuilt.

A lovely, quiet spot right by the lake and not far from the beach. The toilet had no light, but it was clean and in good condition. The internet was also good. According to the sign, there are six pitches, not just three.

Chill place to stop next to a lake with duckies and so on. Houses about so you feel safe as. Walk down to the beach in 10 min. Rhe pub 5 min walk a great place to hang with locals. Super friendly. Get some!

Great place for NSC enjoyed my stay

מקום טוב לחופש קמפינג, שירותים נקיים ומים לשתייה.

מקום נחמד עבור NSC ממש ליד האגם. Toilet Flush היה טואלט אבל לא סבון או אור והיה גם מזרק מים.
