A constant stream of cars going back and forth all night, hiding behind a specific tree looking for something specific? You never know. It was really scary for a solo woman; I didn't sleep a wink, I was alone at the campsite. Especially since a car decided to park right next to me at 3 a.m., as if trying to force me out (there were no other cars and plenty of space). Anyway… avoid it.

Nice location, safe from the wind and quiet. 3 campervan seats and 1 for tents. Separated from small hills that leaves a very pleasant privacy during a quiet night by the sea. Toilets, tap and toilet papers on site. No telephone reception. Beautiful beach against the bottom!

Beautiful beach and cliffs at sunset. Level pitch and very quiet night. Great views of Mt Taranaki on the road in. Toilets good but as others have said, take a torch!

We pulled in at 4:30pm and saw 6 campervans. We didn’t want to break the rules so moved on. Beautiful site though.

Nice spot by the beach, didn’t feel spooky. There was no service, the toilets where clean but dark so take a head torch even in the day. The sign says 3 vehicles max, but there is space for a few more.

We travelled as a couple with a dog, in winter, maybe that made a difference... We were a bit spooked and unsure if going to this spot because of the previous reviews.. but we still tried it out and it has been fine with us. We arrived at 8pm, maybe 2 cars drove in&out around at 9/10pm, but nothing else "weird". Friendly walkers the next morning. No phone signal.

שקיעה יפה על החוף החול השחור, אבל סימן טלפון אפס. השירותים היו פתוחים כאשר הגענו, אבל הם היו נעולים על ידי 7:30pm ועדיין לא היו פתוחים על ידי 8am בבוקר למחרת.. זה אומר עצמי מכוסה כאן אבל יש חתיכה של דשא עם סימן לא עצמי מכוסה מכוניות אז אנחנו נכנסו כאן בסלון שלנו ולא היו בעיות. מקום נהדר אם אתה הולך לאגמונט למחרת. הגענו לשם על 5pm עבור המקום שלנו וכמה מכוניות הופיעו אבל היו צריכים לעזוב כי זה היה מלא

מקום נחמד עם נוף לחוף, מאוד שקט ומספיק מקום כאשר הגענו מאוחר.

זהירות - מקום יפה אבל יש לנו לילה חסר שינה. בסביבות חצות הבנו אורות זורקים באזור החניה. עוד Van חניה ליד הקרוואן שלנו 2 מכוניות נוספות הגיעו והקיפו את אזור החניה. התחלנו את הרכב שלנו וכאשר יצאנו מחוץ לאזור הקמפינג 1:00 amish אחד המכוניות הלך בעקבותינו. הפסקנו לשים על הזנב ופתאום המכונית מאחורינו מהירה אחריו 3 מכוניות אחרות. לא ממש בטוח מה קורה אבל הרגשתי מאוד ממוקד

הרבה מקומיים אבל אלה שדיברנו עם כולם היו סופר נחמד, אני עדיין יהיה זהיר כמו אישה נוסעת לבד אבל מאז im עם החבר שלי זה היה בסדר.
