Only 4 spots so arrive early, we stayed one night late April and were the 3rd spot at around 4pm! All 4 full by 7pm. Quiet location, felt safe, police were around on the morning but no bother they seemed to be checking things were quiet? Robo toilet other end of the car park, open during daylight hours. Nice reserve and bike tracks nearby. Good view of Kapiti Island

Great place to stay, very calm and quiet during the night (even on a saturday night). Locals were friendly and had a chat. We had a stunning sunset and saw some beautiful birds. There was a clean toilet which even played music haha.

Very lovely campsite with a clean robo-toilet nearby! The toilet appeared to be closed after 8pm.

Pretty cool spot, decent toilets. Only problem, some local kids came up to us to tell us that at 8pm people would come and ask us for money to stay on the pitch. Of course it's false and it was meant to scare us, but we left because we didn't want to be bothered and disturbed during the evening.

BATHROOMS CLOSE EARLY IN WINTER Otherwise, its a beautiful spot with a nice walk to the beach!

קצת רשע אולי, אבל אחרי חופש קמפינג סביב ניו זילנד במשך 8 שבועות, זה היה המקום האהוב עליי! נשארתי פעמיים - פעם בסוף פברואר ולאחר מכן שוב בתחילת אפריל. בפברואר, הגעתי בשעה 1pm ו 4 נקודות היו מלאות ב 5pm; באפריל עדיין היו מרחקים חופשיים כל הלילה. זה בהחלט מדהים ללכת סביב מביט על הנהר, המפרץ, ולאחר מכן הים רק בצד השני של דינות החול.

4 המקומות היחידים נלקחים במהירות חלופה טובה ואולי טובה יותר היא חוף אוטקי.
