ברגע שאתה מבין איך להזמין, זה קל. המקום הוא יפה, כולם לבד, שירותים בסדר!

לאחר שיחת טלפון של 30 דקות עם אדם נחמד במועצה של אוקלנד סיטי, בפארקים וחופשה, היא סייעה לי להזמין ולדבר איתי דרך אתר האינטרנט שלהם. השירותים היו נקיים, כלבי הרנג'ר היו נלהבים מאוד והטיולים היו בטיסה מלאה. חניה על שטח שטוח מאחורי הבניין הראשי, למרבה הצער אין נוף אלא שקט.

ישנם 2 אתרים SCC, 1 עונת קיץ & 1 חורף, האחרון עומד מאחורי HQ bldg, הראשון הוא אזור מעוטר על הדירות ליד Blackberry Flat Camp. בדוק את המפה ARP (באמצעות קישור תחת 'צור קשר') עבור מיקום עונת הקיץ. אין סימן! מערכת ההזמנה PITA & כל ARP pax יגיד לך משהו שונה. Gen up לפני שאתה קורא. להתעקש. ? ~ Puriri Grove הליכה & Waharau Bush הליכה שווה מאוד. הפארק הוא אשראי לעובדים.

This is the parking lot behind the information center. Take the little road to the left hand side. There is no signage indicating you can camp there and no one on the phone at the reservation line has ANY clue where to find it. But this is it. Small quiet gravel parking lot next to cow pasture with water tap and clean bathrooms. As a note: Reservation system is absolutely miserable. Worst way to pay for a campsite of any I have experienced in NZ.

Nothing is indicated for the winter. Super clean toilet place and plenty of space then an open space available. Cool !

Excellent place to spend a couple of days - good walking tracks (short to long trips), quiet, lovely and a very pleasant place.

Beautiful area well maintained grounds. Not very clear on where you can park, astonished that it was deserted when the very average top 10 campground further down the road was full. The lack of people gave it an eerie feeling, couldn't help but think that it is a very under utilised resource maybe this is because the lack of clarity on the booking and payments (the same can be said for the other regional park campgrounds in the area).
