Amazing location for a freedom camper spot (paid, when staying multiple nights). Enough space, good toilet and amazing (!) shower with warm water. Very convenient as first stop from Auckland or when visiting Hobbiton!

קל לסדר את הרשיון המקוון, אם כי נשארנו רק לילה אחד כך שזה לא היה צריך. שירותים נקיים ומקלחת חמה חינם! לא עסוק מדי, נוף פנטסטי ונוח ושקט. הייתי ממליץ לחלוטין!

קמפינג חופשי נפלא ליד האגם עם מקלחת חמה חינם!! קמפינג כאן במשך כמה ימים עם NSC שלי, רק צריך לקבל את הרשיון עבור זה כי קל להגיש בקשה באינטרנט.

Beautiful site! Free!! Just get a permit easy peasy online - same as jones landing etc After two nights I guess you had to pay for permits? We stayed two and it was lush! Huge space so lots of parking available with May views of the water. Toilets really nice and clean considering they’re drop toilets - no smell and no flies! Showers are warm and free!! Fairly clean just your usual bugginess and no light so if you want to shower before bed bring a torch! Really nice spot!

אזור יפה ליד האגם. די הרבה מקומיים נראים מחנה כאן לטווח ארוך. מקלחות חמות היו מדהימים!! שירותים בשם טוב גם, ניקוי פסולת ומגבות מיחזור זמינים. חינם למחנה עבור 2 לילות הראשונים

A very beautiful spot with a lake. The campsite is quite large. However, the toilets are very dirty, almost unusable.

Hot showers!!!!! What a delight after long days hiking and travelling. Access to the river for swimming if you dont mind the cold. Two well maintained clean and not at all smelly long drop toilets. Few guests of the campsite playing music on big speakers but kindly stopped at 9:30pm and didnt resume until 7:30am. Bring mosquito repellent.

Stunning spot to park up. Sooo quiet. Good toilets and showers. No power or drinking water. Definitely recommend.

נשארתי בסוף מרץ וזה היה מאוד עסוק. לא ידוע לי כשנכנסתי, עשיתי את זה ליד זוג גברים חסרי בית. אחד במכונית, אחר במרתף. הם נשארים למעלה לשתות ולשחק מוסיקה עד חצות. עזבתי ומצאתי מקום אחר יפה יותר ויותר מבודד מוקדם למחרת. מיקום מדהים. בושה על זוג גברים חריגים.
