הגענו ביום רביעי אחר הצהריים והיינו היחידים שם. שקט מאוד, בר אחד של קבלה עם Spark, שימושי רק עבור הדברים החיוניים העירוניים. שירותים פונקציונליים אבל מלוכלכים. עם זאת, היה מקלחת חמה נקיה חינם (!) עם קובייה פרטית. פנטסטי ואלף נקודות פלוס. קופסאות מזוודות היו זמינים.

Came here on a Friday afternoon. The toilets were alright and it was quiet but looked a bit rough. As soon as we opened the door it absolutely stunk! Not sure if it was the toilets or what? But really bad smell. Wouldn’t want any windows or doors open. Then saw the review about noise across the river and always worry about weekends. Ended up leaving and going to Little Waipa which was huge clean and beautiful.

I came on a Thursday night and it was fine. A ute came.around midnight and parked next to me with the engine on. When i looked throught the window, they moved a bit further and switched off the engine and the lights. With all the comments on other freecamps, I didn't feel so safe but the spot is great with hot shower ! So I would still recommend it. Just lock your van while you sleep.

A stunning spot, with hot shower and a clean toilet. Quite a bit of space, only 3 other campers when we were there. Unfortunately there were some hoons at Bulmers Landing on the other side of the lake playing loud music and doing burn outs to 4.30am. It could easily have been our campground they chose though. I dont think this is a high priority for the police, however it might help if the council put in some speed bumps? We stayed on a Friday night. Might be worse Friday and Saturday?

Beautiful location. A few other campers. We sent a very peaceful and enjoyable night here.

מקום יפה, אבל פופולרי עבור צעירים. נשארתי ביום שישי בלילה. מוסיקה חזקה עד מאוחר, מתווכחים, ו 2am דופק בדלת שלי, אשר לא פתחתי. מכונית אחת יצאה החוצה דלק. ואז בנפרד, בחור עם חוטים חוטים הגיע בשעה 5.30 לפנות בוקר כדי לנסות לגנוב את הסוללה המקלחת. החוויה הגרועה ביותר שלי קמפר אי פעם. הנוף הוא ציורי. זה היה מאושר, עד שהחושך נפל.

מקום יפה ליד הנהר. כמה מכוניות שם וכלבים וילדים שמחים לשחק באגם. אבל האנשים היו מכובדים ואין מוסיקה או רעש. פחמימות בסיסיות נאותות וקוביות מקלחת טובה. מקום נהדר. אין כוח.

אהבתי את המקום הזה! עסוק וברור מקום מקומי אוהב בסוף השבוע אבל אהבנו את האנרגיה שהביאה. מקלחות חמות ושירותים.

נשארתי כאן לפני כמה שבועות ונהנינו שהייה שלנו. שירותים נקיים ואפילו מקלחת סולארית חמה בחינם. היו כמה משפחות שעלולות להיות תושבים קבועים אבל הם היו שקטים ומכובדים. אין קבלת טלפון כאן וכמה רחוק מהכביש הראשי אז לא בטוח הייתי נוח כאן אם השותף שלי לא היה איתי.
