הגעתי בלילה בחושך, קשה לראות דברים אבל היה הרבה מקום. כמה כלבים זועקים אבל זה היה. שירותים נקיים, לא השתמשו במקלחת. מלבד זה בעיקר גשם אז לא ראיתי הרבה, זה היה בסדר בגשם אם אתה חושב על איפה אתה חונה.

מרחב גדול על החוף של האגם, אחד יכול בקלות למצוא מקום בשקט. שירותים יבש ומקלחת חמה מאוד מוערך. כמה מרחבים עם שולחנות מוגנים. מקום להמליץ !!

Wonderful freedom campground!Beautiful view and atmosphere. Easy to get the permit and there is FREE HOT SHOWER! Love it!

Lovely spot even in the pouring rain! Really peaceful, loads of space too. Long drip toilets. Council did a rubbish run first thing in the morning. Would definitely stay again 😊 Apply for a free permit with South Waikato Council.

Incredible free camping - such beautiful scenery, lots of space, close to the calm waters. The hot shower was such a gorge bonus! Very grateful this place exists.

Lots of space for campers, the toilets were average but that is to be expected over New Year’s Eve, best to bring toilet paper if staying around this time of year as it goes fairly quickly with multiple groups of people. The toilets were cleaned every day which was a bonus, there was a large skip bin as well for any rubbish to help people be tidy kiwis
