Very clean, very well-maintained, very welcoming people, we highly recommend!

This campsite was fantastic. Stayed here on 1st February and it was not too busy. Spotless with superb showers. By a main road but you don’t notice the noise. The setting is amazing and Hokitika is a beautiful little town. The host Kevin is an absolute gent, funny hospitable and handsome. No wonder he found himself such a beautiful, younger wife😁

Fantastic campsite. Super cozy common room. Showers for $4 - 5min. The owner was so nice, he recommended us the water taxi in Abel Tasman and the best route to take etc. Would absolutely stay there again! (Also, real cute dog) The price was really good.

Really nice campsite with a really nice host! Toilets were clean showers were hot and there is a kitchen with everything you need.

Very clean and tidy. Very friendly and helpful staff. Well-equipped, clean kitchen with a small shop (eggs, cucumbers, tomatoes). Hot shower ($2). Highly recommended 👍

Neat, clean and tidy, well maintained. Not a big camp ground but nice and quiet. Recommend to anyone.

Electricity went out in the morning, no water working at all in the main block. $2 for 4/5 min shower, pressure was nice and water was hot. Bathrooms are nice and new, as are the main camp kitchen facilities. Grounds are pretty, well maintained and near a stream with a jetty, can see eels. Well located, just out of town. Can’t leave any rubbish or take any water, which was confusing but apparently due to fines? Unpowered for $36 isn’t bad. Wifi doesn’t have a large reach, but can be accessed.

$36 for 1 unpowered night is good, facilities are clean and new- however if you aren’t in a caravan and have a caravan plug- then the $40 you pay for powered just means you have permission to plug an extension cord into the one plug in the outside camp kitchen. Easier to just stick to paying unpowered and snagging the plug anyway to charge phones ect, saves you $4. Not allowed to leave any rubbish, no bins on site. $2 for a 4min shower, pressure is good. Cannot take any water for bottles either?

Small camp, despite the high price, they’re cheap with the water and make comments while you’re washing the dishes. Showers cost and wifi works only in the kitchen

This place is neat well kept and very clean, but considering your paying $40 a night for power you can’t use the tap to fill up you water (for water restrictions that aren’t in place), you pay $2 for a 5 min shower and can’t put rubbish away without the risk of getting a fine, also wifi doesn’t work unless your in communal area which doesn’t make sense for the size of the camp site. Id be fine with all that if I was paying half the price but I felt they were to stingy for that price.
