Beautiful spot for an off-grid experience. Probably not as many spots as advertised (especially in wet weather), but if it’s not too busy, you’ll get a beautiful quiet spot for the night.

דרך עמוס, אתר DOC נראה שיש יותר שטחים מפורטים מאשר מחנות / טריילרים / מכוניות יכול למעשה להתאים. לא עוזר כאשר אנשים לא להחנות ביעילות כך שאחרים יכולים להתאים. עושה את העבודה ללילה כאשר עובר, אבל לא שווה $ 15pp ללילה, אתרים DOC רבים אחרים הם הרבה יותר טובים.

אין מקום חניה מדויק כלומר אין מקום מוגבל ולא יכול להיות מקום בשבילך אם אתה מגיע מאוחר גם אם יש לך לשלם ולהזמין באינטרנט.זה 15$ לאדם ואחד המקומות הגרועים ביותר שהיינו נשארים ב.לא מתקנים וכמעט כל כך הרבה חולדות ו cicadas.לא יכולנו לבשל מאז הדלתות של האוטו חייבות להיות פתוחות וגם לא עזבנו את האוטו כל הערב בגלל כמות חולדות.

I didn't like it at all. I've been to several campsites across the South Island, and this is the most expensive one I've paid for, and it has no amenities whatsoever, not even soap or hand sanitizer. Other free places had those things. It was really bad and full of mosquitoes.

Somehow way more people then the maximum amount of camperspots. Toilets were ok. Below average for a DOC campingspot

Nice spot, nothing spectacular but all fine. Lots of sandflies.

Beautiful spot as described. Noone here - until someone else rocks up at 8pm, parking 2m away.! We ignored the banging & pump noises, going to sleep at 10 - to be woken up 45 mins later by their outside light left on shining right in our window... I moved. They'd gone by early morning.  3rd time in 2 weeks folks have come in late & squeezed in when there's plenty of other space. Guys please just pay DOC fees and contribute to NZ conservation. And space, sheesh - please!

מקום נהדר. נוף יפה. אם אתה מעז אתה יכול לקחת צלילה באגם בקרבת מקום.

מקום עסוק מאוד ועמוס בערב, בסדר להישאר ללילה, הרבה שטח דשא כדי לפתוח מגרש אבל אתה לא יכול לקבל כלי רכב לאתרים כך שאתה בסופו של דבר לובש הכל.
