Would check if there’s any on at the hotel - band was SO loud there last night, we ended up moving to another spot. There is a toilet there though that seemed to be opened still at 10.30ish. Lots of space too.

Stayed here for 2 nights, were the only ones mostly. Toilets located behind the library, next to the basketball court, 24/7. Nice walk to town and beach via the little tracks round the reserve

Good for a night out. Plenty of places available but no toilets nearby.

Areas to park are right next to the road, which can be noisy. Carpark isn’t flat. Check if there’s any events on at Waihi Beach Hotel as the noise travels & people walk past chatting loudly at all hours on the weekend.

Très belle plage, avec une petite rando dans les hauteurs amenant à une autre plage pas très loin. Il y a des toilettes et de l’eau potable. Pas beaucoup de places pour se garer et pas mal de gros camping car, au final beaucoup de gens sont resté dormir dans l’herbe un peu plus loin.

You stand in the parking lot of the library and have WiFi until about 7 p.m. The nearest public toilets that we found on Campermate are a 12 minute walk away on the beach. These are clean and have both toilet paper and soap. In front of the toilet building there is a water crane for filling bottles. The parking lot is on a street, which didn't bother us at night.

Only one rubbish bin. No recycling facility so just had to dump all rubbish in one bin.

Fine for an overnight spot if the beach is full. Lots of cars here in the morning though.
