Tourism Western AustraliaHi! If you're planning a camping or caravan trip to Queenstown, you're in for a treat. This beautiful region in Otago, New Zealand, offers a range of outdoor experiences that cater to different tastes and preferences. From scenic lakeside spots to rural areas surrounded by mountains, there's something for everyone.
When searching for a place to stay, consider what amenities are important to you and your group. Are you looking for a basic site with minimal facilities, or a more developed campground with showers, toilets, and kitchen areas? Perhaps you're interested in a caravan park with powered sites, laundry facilities, and other services. Whatever your needs, you can find a range of options in and around Queenstown. Browse the map and listings below to find the perfect spot for your camping or caravan trip. You'll find a variety of options, from lakeside campgrounds to rural caravan parks, and can filter by location, amenities, and more to make your search easier.
Place well located if you want to visit Queenstown. However, on powered sites there is little space between spots. Too expensive (75$) for what they offer.

Felt safe and close to the centre. Great for smaller vans (around 2m height limit). Gets busy. Nearest toilets are in town.

15pp self check-in at your arrive by paying cash or wait until the morning to pay with card. We've chosen a nice spot really close to the lake (we took a swim) and toilet was a long drop no flush of course, not smelly at all The last part of the entrance road has few potholes so be careful. BRING WITH YOU MOSQUITOS AND SANDFLIES REPELLENT OR DON'T GO AT ALL!! Love NZ ❤️
