Was not flooded when we stayed on 10th / 11th Sep :) defo check though

Flooding has gone back plenty to park without worry but would check weather before going as locals said it is prone to flooding in heavy rain. Really peaceful site with lovely clean toilets, bins and right at Te Kinga trail head. Great phone signal.

Very cute campground with a view on the mountains and the possibility to swim in the lake. 2 flushing toilets and a changing room (per women/men), cell service is okay and 10 spots to park. Arrive early as this spot is often taken by motorhomes of people who come here to fish :)

Allowed places are not so nice because only the first cars have a side view to the lake and there is not much space between the cars. A lot of space in the area where camping is prohibited. I moved to a different place.

एक झील के साथ सुंदर जगह जहां आप तैर सकते हैं! माउंट टे किंगा पर चलना भी बहुत मजेदार है. 2 रातों के लिए शिविर किया गया। हम 2 बजे पहुंचे और एक सप्ताह के दिन अंतिम उपलब्ध स्थान मिला। यहां सनफली बिल्कुल घातक हैं - पूरी तरह से कवर किए जाने के बावजूद और सभी प्रकार के रिपेलेंट का उपयोग करते हुए सब कुछ काटते हैं। फ़ोन सिग्नल शर्मनाक था लेकिन अधिकांश समय काम कर रहा था।

यह एक बहुत ही सुंदर स्वतंत्रता शिविर है जिसे मैं निश्चित रूप से बाहर की जांच करने की सलाह दे सकता हूं. आपके पास झील, समुद्र तट और आपके चारों ओर प्रकृति के साथ एक सुंदर दृश्य है. नोट: आपको दिन में अपेक्षाकृत शुरुआत में वहां होना चाहिए, क्योंकि 10 स्वतंत्रता शिविर बहुत तेजी से भर जाते हैं. हम वहां थे 2 बजे और केवल एक जगह बाकी थी. और यहां प्रकृति और झील के कारण यहां बहुत नमी है, इसलिए उनके बहुत सारे हैं.

Very beautiful place, got here on a rainy day, luckily there was a space as there is not that many of them. Got here around 13:00 with a lot of huge RVs on the spots. Had a great swim in the lake 🤙🏻. Toilets are pretty close and very clean with two bins for rubbish. Had a 2 lines of 4G, Spark is my provider and even VPN works fine here.
