Stayed 3 nights here, great spot. Good phone signal, level spaces, lovely walk around the lake. Lots of traffic noise early morning though you could minimise if you parked in the spaces away from the road.

This is a great spot! The gardens are absolutely stunning so definitely check them out! Freedom camping is only permitted between 4/5pm(cant remember which) and 9am - not sure how much this is monitored though. I arrived a little earlier and had no issues. Good phone reception. Some traffic noise early morning but nothing major.

For pet owners - no dogs are allowed here, not even in your vehicle, there are huge fines if caught. The last 6kms or so are via a generous single lane track (not sure why people are so scared of this, its literally huge in terms of "single lane" and plenty of space to easily pass other vehicles) good phone reception (spark) plenty of spaces. It fills up a lot during the day but once day hikers leave theres heaps of space so if you arrived later you'd have no issue finding a spot. Good toilets. I didnt see any bins though, so take rubbish out with you. Great views of Taranaki.

Honestly one of the nicest spots on the north island. I stayed a few nights over labour day weekend - it was busy when I arrived on Saturday afternoon but was still able to find a spot. By sunday it had cleared out massively. Its a busy site overall but big enough that you could arrive late and still get a spot. There were signs advising not to go in the water or let your dogs in the water due to quality issues at the time but no one seemed to take any notice and some idiot let their dogs chase geese right into the middle island of the lake. Lovely walk around the lake and the coastal path with great views of taranaki. Clean toilets but no bins in the freedom camping area - there's some located in the day parking areas though. Good phone reception (spark) nice flat spaces. There's two car parks- one for self contained and one for non self contained which has 4 marked spaces clearly shown on the ground. Its a little confusing when you first go in but easy to figure out.

Schöne Stellplätze direkt am Meer, kostenlose warme Duschen, saubere Anlage, kleiner Shop, Münzwaschmaschinen. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Betreiber. Blieben für zwei Nächte.

Grand camping idéal pour attraper le ferry le lendemain matin (environs 20 min de route). Le bloc douches et toilettes est très grand et il a de la.place dans la douche. Très propre le personnel vient régulièrement vérifier. Grande cuisine avec four, plaque etc... Mais il faut tout amener (casserole, poêle, ustensiles etc...). Il y a un espace.baebeuce également a disposition.

Nice enough spot. We were fortunate enough to be allocated site no. 186 which was perfectly levelled, as the other powered sites were in a slight slope. Toilets and showers were pristinely maintained. Wifi was slow. A comfortable walking distance to the lively restaurants and shops.

Nous avons séjourné 1 nuit avant de faire la tongariro. L'emplacement est top et le cadre idéal (proximité des parkings et navette). Douches et toilettes propres. Par contre dans la cuisine les plaques électriques ne marchent pas vraiment. Pas de chauffage dans l'espace commun mais au moins on était au sec. Tout s'est fait par mail.

great quit place. We were alone. Indeed not easy to find but see the Haiku pathway sign it leads you directly to the place. Great coffee and hot bread at katikati hot bread shop!!

Carpark had 4 spots. Water 1 min walk past the skate park. Toilets 1 minute walk to marina. Lots of little bins for rubbish and recycling scattered nearby. The close by restaurants smelled amazing!

Nagyszerű freecamp, van egy hatalmas kosár az összes szemetet, ivóvíz és egy szemét!

Ez az egyik legnagyobb DOC kemping és a hétvégén rendkívül zsúfolt volt. Csak egy éjszakát töltöttem itt. A WC-k tiszta és vannak hideg zuhanyzók. Előre foglaltam online, és csak megjelent a helyszínre, mert senki sem volt az irodában. Könnyű hozzáférés a strandhoz.

Közvetlenül a víz közelében, gyönyörű kilátás. A WC-k és zuhanyzók alapvetőek, de tiszta. Csak 10 perc sétára a Szerződés alapjaitól.

Egy nagyon szép hely nagyon szép tulajdonosokkal! Csak 25 dollárért nagyon sokat kapsz, WiFi-t, meleg zuhanyzókat, felszerelt konyhát és gyors hozzáférést a Hot Water Beach-hez. A tulajdonosok megmutatták nekem, és este megosztották velem a házi sört. Ön is mosogathat 5 dollárért, és kölcsönözhet tálcákat a strandon ingyen.

Gyönyörű kemping mindent, amire szüksége van: forró zuhanyzók, szemetet, TV szoba, pingvinek... Szuper barátságos személyzet és a bolt nagyon széles választékot kínál!

Nagyon szép kemping. A terepeket gondosan elrendezik és nagyon jól karbantartják. Van egy szép közös szoba konyhával, valamint tiszta, jól karbantartott WC-k és zuhanyzók. Gyönyörű kilátás nyílik a folyóra. A közeli Kauri múzeum érdemes megnézni.

Sajnos ezt negatívnak kellett jelölni, hogy felhívja a figyelmet a jövőbeni utazásokra. Ez egy gyönyörű kemping mind a folyó, mind a strand annyira közel van! Azonban 12 órakor elhagytuk a súlyos eső miatt. KÉRJÜK, ha bármilyen eső van, akkor biztonságosabb mozogni. A víz szintje néhány órán belül növekszik. Ha itt maradsz nedves időben, kérjük, figyelj erre

Tisztességes kemping barátságos személyzettel. A helyszín rendben van, egy kis sétára a fővárosba.

Kell reklámozni, mint nincs WiFi, mivel egyáltalán nem működött még a hotspot területeken. Fürdőszobák voltak elég tiszta, és a hely mellett a boltok jó volt. Buszok csak 50c, hogy a fő Airlie strand város. $94 áram nélkül 2 ember 2 éjszaka.
