Not to bad for stopover, toilets clean and open 24/7. If you park over by river you probably get less traffic noise. Tables and bbq available.

Clean toilet, drinking water, barbecue and pic nique table area. Really close from the road but not that noisy. Good place for a night

We stayed there last night. Quite clean and not too much traffic noise. We walked down the road to Helidon and then through the Main Street back to the park. Very pleasant!

Nice stay, can only stay for 20 hours though. Clean toilets, clean BBQs and picnic area. Right off the highway, but wasn’t too noisy which was good!

Very nice rest area. Clean toilets. Spacious and fairly quiet despite the main road which is right next to it.

Stopped in here early yesterday morning on my way to Toowoomba, there were a couple of vans parked up and the toilets were open (6am). Signs saying ok to park up to 20 hours. Bit noisy as right next to the highway

Not too bad, toilets were locked for a long time in the morning, not too sure what was going on. Bring your own toilet paper, it’s available in the toilets, but it weird paper. Gets a bit spooky at night, but the area is very beautiful!

Yeah, it’s kinda decent. Not too bad except it’s off a busy highway. It’ll be loud in a tent but probably calms down after 10pm. It’s better once some of the mob turn up ‘cause it feels a bit safer. I think a few people rock up to suss it out but burn off to a quieter place. It’s not much of a bushy area. ?
