What a fantastic camp. Plenty of nice flat spots. Amenities spotless. Plenty of fire pits. Amazingly friendly caretakers. Fantastic murals around and got to watch a wee one being painted of a red back spider. Great friendly campers around us and everyone was quiet with the 8pm noise restrictions. Don't forget to take your own water. Highly recommend.
Apart from the ridiculous showers and disrespectful public overall this place is alright
Nice campsite located along Yabba Creek. Clean facilities, fire pits are required but they have plenty available for free. There is a kiosk which has the basics (ice, firewood, ice cream). Kayak hire is free. Can get really busy in the school holidays and on the weekends, but generally plenty of space to pitch your tent.
Excellent camp site within the forest. Super nice people, not after the money. Free kayaking.
This place is crap... They are only after the $$$... They book you in for a week and if you want to stay another week. They say you can only stay for 5 nights, so you dont get the 6th night for free. Done it to me twice now... Minus 5... If they had it. Never going back there again....!
Great spot
Such an amazing campsite in a beautiful location with a super lovely guy running it! Backpacker discount, free firewood and kayaks, we couldn’t have asked for more. The facilities such as hot showers and kitchen are spotless and very modern. The best campsite we have stayed at in the whole of Oz! ❤️
Really nice there ? you can set up tents and make a fire. It only cost $ 5 per person
Every good comment is true. We used a kayak for free on the lake and fished. The facilities are better than most $40/night campsites. We payed $5 each person night for un powered and even got free powered site on the second night because it was too cold. Peter the caretaker is a genuine guy, founder of peterpans, although he has nothing to do with them these days. Can talk for ages with him. This is a must see for any working holiday maker. Can work for free accomodation too
The best campgrounds in Australia! We had an amazing stay here, the owner is so kind and helpful and friendly. Everything is clean - bathrooms and showers. There are places for bonfires and lots of space around and a lake nearby where the owner very kindly lent us some kayaks. The kitchen should be open today! There’s even a creek next to it where some people (not us) can spot a platypus. It’s a great off the beaten track campsite - highly recommended.
