Nem tudsz vezetni erre a kempingre, de le tudod húzni az utat és parkolni közvetlenül a bejárat előtt és után a pálya a helyszínre, és sétálni 10 perc, vagy kerékpározni a tengerparton tentsite. A helyszínen van egy konyha menedék és a hosszú csepp WC, valamint gombok figyelmezteti, hogy forraljuk a vizet, mielőtt inni. A helyszín közvetlenül egy pár szép sétány, egy könnyű Kauri eső vagy egy kihívást jelentő séta egy régi fa gyár és bálnavadászat állomás vagy a villamos vonalak. Nincs forgalom itt, csak a hang a madarak és a halak ugrik.

This campsite is not boat access only. We got dropped off at the road and watched the 15 minute track to the camping area. It overlooks the Whangaparapara estuary. It is near the hot springs which we didn't check out as it was a much farther walk than we anticipated. There is a sign that says there is glass in one of the hot springs. Water must be boiled here. One long drop toilet. Thousands of mosquitoes. Be prepared for that. If you walk past the wharf, around the rocks, there is a cave and lots of beautiful crystals. It was the highlight for me. The highlight for my sister was the fishing. Stunning spot. But just be prepared, because it is a mission to walk to the closest town. Locals are awesome though, hitchhiking encouraged.
