HUGE camping area with smooth level grass. Can get boggy after heavy rain, but there is firm ground before the grassy area. We spent 2 lots of 3 nights here, and at the most there were 10 others staying. Don't forget to book online before you arrive, there is no phone signal.

Great field with sinks and toilets in the middle of nowhere.

Zárva a télre! Tegnap felvette, lefoglalt, a honlapon semmi, miután átlépte ezt a kis hidat és a kapukat zárva zárva! DOC nevű, miután csatlakozott Starlink, mint nincs telefonjel itt, hibát tettek a foglalások engedélyezésében, hivatalosan zárva van a télre, (ajánlott NZMCA). A híd! Oy vey! Mi vagyunk 14 méter összesen, felzárkózott, és három kísérletet vett igénybe haha! Lehetőség van azonban, amikor nyitva van!! Nagyon kis területet forgatni, ha a kapuk zárva vannak, ezért először ellenőrizze! TASMANTRAVELS

Nagyon szép. De egy kicsit zavaró. A doc oldalon minden rendben van. A kemping előtt van egy jelzés, amely szerint lopás miatt zárva van. De ettől eltérően minden más úgy tűnik, hogy rendben van. Abszolút nincs jelzés. Mielőtt odaértünk. Minden fű, így nehéz futás esetén a gumiabroncsok nem fognak jó tapadást kapni.

One of the best camping places, I have had so far because it was so quiet and in the middle of nature. But there is no Internet or signal.

Freshly mown grass and overall the site is very well presented. Despite the size it’s a quiet spot with only a few campers on a Friday night. Not sure why as it’s a beautiful spot. Bit of a hidden gem.

Got there pretty late due to delayed ferry but managed to pull up to a massive site and pitch up our rooftop tent and had a very quiet sleep. Flush toilets and water you can boil. $20 for 2 cash only.

Really beautiful large site. Only 2 other campers there. Flush toilets and running water. Secluded and peaceful. Bird song by day, silent starry skies by night. Soft grass, no mud when we were there mid January.

What a great spot! As described by others… too big an area to get busy, sunny and shady options, nice amenities, beauty river, no prob with bugs. Most birdsong I’ve heard in upper SI.
