Nothing like the website photos unfortunately! We booked a “bush site” we were completely away from the camp in a tiny area up a very steep hill (lucky we had a 4wheel drive but that struggled even in 4WD to get up there) we couldn’t even fit our car in our site. None of the bush sites were numbered so was very hard to find, so muddy and damp we couldn’t stay there we had to leave and find somewhere else to stay so lost over $300 dollars then had to pay for somewhere else to stay! Friendly reception but I would not pay 75$ for two persons + van again for not having warm showers included and standing directly next to a wetland (never had so many mosquitoe bites before).

Total disgrace, paid our money got to site and left. Only terrible site on our travels all the way from Queenstown. Person in office lovely. Rinkers yard in our minds. This is the most expensive site we have come across. Go to top 10 stayed there for three nights.

Callie and Ant were super helpful! I arrived during a town-wide blackout and they were friendly and accommodating. Felt safe as a solo female traveler too. Clean facilities. Also a good place to spot kiwi birds at night if you have a red light.

A beautiful nature campsite with lots of birds and, if you're lucky, kiwis. Definitely too expensive: $44 in winter for one person. Showers are an extra $2. Kitchen equipment is often unusable and broken. The price/performance ratio isn't good. Shawn is very friendly and helpful.

Csodálatos látni és hallani Kiwi mindkét éjjel! Szép nyitott helyszínen azonban a fő csalódás az volt, hogy a legtöbb létesítmények rendben voltak, és néhány úgy tűnt, hogy így egy ideig, még hallott egy személyzet tagja gyászol... csak 2/6 mosógép / szárítógép működött, sem a két kemence / sütő működött, és a két BBQ-k egyike nem működött. egy tisztességes hely Russell és a kiwi a fő értékesítési pont, ezért foglaltuk a helyet!

Foglaltuk az egyik powered helyszínen. Shane nagyon segítőkész és barátságos volt a check-in és távozás. Ez $ 2 a zuhany, de a létesítmények tiszta és rendezett. Hallhattuk kiwis éjszaka, más madár élet sétál a parkban is.

Egy szuper kellemes természeti kemping barátságos személyzettel. Soha nem láttunk ilyen fantasztikus medencét az utazásunk során. vannak megfelelő fürdőszobák, Wi-Fi, konyha... És a legjobb, sok türelemmel, sikerült észrevenni az első kivi a vad késő este.
