The track is open again, the path is easily walkable.

Mély és zajos még a nyugodt óceán, jó munkát Hole! És szép kilátás is a séta. Csak sajnálom, nincs más nézőplatform, csak bokor és staffeldrot.

Hina Hina bridge is closed atm, so to reach the blowhole, take a detour. Drive SOUTH side (purakaunui falls rd, a gravel road) along Catlins Lake, not north. See turnoff point at a bridge on west side of lake. Keep driving even when the sign says ‘road closed’. If you take the turn off in Owaka (pounawea rd) you’re doing it wrong.

I expected more from the blowhole - zero excitement!

Not really a blowhole, but it's interesting to see waves crash into the cliffs and each other. The viewing platform isn't optimal.

Impressive! Fairly short walk but more than glad we stopped! Super deep blowhole where you can see and hear the water rushing and pounding the rocks. Good little viewing platform over the precipice. Worth it.

Track is in great condition despite the heavy rain for the last few days. Best time to go is near high tide
