Grass field on both sides of the road. Many places in the grass and rather flat. 1 single clean toilet but with a few insects. A 25 min from Invercargill. The road is quiet, it begins to have pass trucks around 7am but not ultra disturbing

A grassy field on the side of the road along the creek, surrounded by sheep. Level spots, would imagine it’s good for tents if that’s your route. One toilet on the larger side of the site. Road noise isn’t bad. Phone signals pretty poor but enough to send texts through and check the weather. No water or other amenities but it’s free and you can stay here multiple nights. Roughly 30 minutes from downtown invercargill.

Excellent spot, flat grassy area with plenty of space. The campsite is not very busy, mainly used by locals. Small composting toilet available. The proximity to the road is not a problem. Very good backup spot if there is too much wind on the coast or too many sandflies.

No more tree felling work. We were alone here and had a quiet night. On the other side there were a few cars and a caravan. So, free camping is perfectly fine.

Third place we tried in Invercargill, was fine until a solo man rocked up in his car and parked up. We didn’t feel safe so we left. Site is viewable from road, so that did not help. We prefer to be tucked away out of view from main roads. Can imagine it’s okay in summer with more people around. Disappointed. Long drop loo not in a great state.

Tágas, nagyszerű a sátorok számára. Egy loo hála Istennek, és ez rendben van! Ne panaszkodjon az embereknek! Ez egy hosszú csepp, amely mindig loo tekercs és kézi mosószerrel rendelkezik. Azt javasolnám, hogy parkoljon a kavicson, mivel úgy néz ki, mintha néhány ember a fűben ragadt volna (a folyó partján van, és itt nedves az éghajlat). A híd után balra mehet 3 jól ápolt járműhelyre, vagy jobbra a füves sátor területére. V.loud út a nap folyamán, v békés éjszaka.

Nagyon bosszantó és kicsi WC-vel több száz halott repülőgép és élő repülőgép. Nincs folyóvíz csak egy kis tartály, amely az esővizet a kis WC-kabin tetejéről gyűjti. A híd alatt lévő út közel van a hídhoz. Néhány pad nem több. Nagyon rossz telefonjelzés. Csak akkor maradjon, ha feltétlenül szükséges.

Emberek, kérjük, zárja be a hosszú csepp WC fedelet. Nem minden kabinban van megírva ok nélkül! Ha nem tudtad: csökkenti mind a szagot, mind a legyek / szúnyogok számát. A fedelet WC-papírral vagy a lábaddal zárhatja le, ha durva, VAGY egyszerűen fertőtleníti a kezét, vagy mossa le őket az autóban. Köszönöm!

Kellemes, békés helyen, amely kiterjed mindkét oldalon az út. Igen, van forgalom az úton, de csak a nap folyamán.
