Our first night in a tent in New Zealand. It couldn't have been better. We were welcomed warmly. It was really lovely.

This place is incredible. The owners set out to build a sustainable community in harmony with the land and they succeeded. My wife and I car camped here two nights and it was a wonderfully healing experience. The remoteness and thriving bush of the Waikato Ranges is breathtaking and yields unmatched views of the stars at night. 10min from Bridal Veil Falls, 30 from Raglan and other West Coast beaches, and easy to get to. Comfortable amenities while feeling off grid. We plan to return ASAP!

Igazán szép kis léptékű hely által vezetett elkötelezett emberek! Azt is megtanulni valamit rg környezet, növények stb. Ne felejtsd el, hogy sétáljon a gyönyörű festői pálya, csak 40 perc vissza. Tiszta nem szagló WC-k. Forró zuhany. Lehetőség, hogy töltse fel a dolgokat. Kiváló telefon jel (gyertya).

Such a magical place! Would recommend it a thousand times. Ecological way of life, beautiful nature, peaceful environment and warm people. There’s toilets and an outdoor hot shower, an area for creation, an area for sitting and playing and a BBQ area. All with a roof and can be used in raining days also. Everything is clean and welcoming. Had such a great experience for the last 3 days. Would sure come back. Thanx🩷☮️🧚🌻

Really nice retreat. Extremely peaceful and relaxing. The people who live there are really nice and are clearly very passionate about what they're doing, but will also leave you to it whilst you get on with your day. There are also some nice walks from the campsite, hot showers, BBQ, washing area and the most odourless and clean composting toilet I've ever witnessed

Beautiful spot to camp up for a while. Close to Raglan and the surfing beaches but nestled away in the beautiful hills with beautiful little hikes through the bush and down to a wonderful estuary.

I can not rate this place more! Superb facilities, super welcoming people and such an awesome Vibe and energy to the whole place! The bathrooms were clean and well maintained, the camping grounds are super accessible and extremely well set up for quiet individuals right through to family groups, and the bush walks around the property and down to the river are just perfect. We just spent two nights at Hakea with the dog and we were absolutely dreading our departure. Such a cool hidden gem!

Nagyon üdvözlendő, kültéri fedett terekkel pihenni, és lenyűgöző példa szinte minden permakultúra gyakorlatára. A jó energia, amit a meztelen lábadban a föld körül jársz, kézzelfogható. 15 perces séta lefelé a hegyre, és eljutsz a legcsodálatosabb szökőkúthoz - habos apartmanokhoz kilométereken alacsony áradat esetén, 6 órával később mindegyik kitöltve egy szép úszó lyukkal.
