Great freecamp, you’ve got a huge bin for all your rubbish, potable water & a dump!

Es ist einer der größten DOC Campsites und am Wochenende war es extrem voll. Ich stand nur eine Nacht hier. Toiletten sind sauber und es gibt kalte Duschen. Ich habe vorab online gebucht und hab mich einfach auf den Platz gestellt weil niemand im Büro war. Leichter Zugang zum Strand.

Right by the water, beautiful view. Toilets and showers are basic but clean. Only a 10-minute walk to the Treaty Grounds.

Ein richtiger schöner Ort mit sehr netten Besitzern! Für nur $25 bekommt man echt viel, Wifi, warme Duschen, eine ausgestattete Küche und schnellen Zugang zum Hot Water Beach. Die Besitzer haben mich rumgeführt und am Abend das eigen gebraute Bier mit mir geteilt. Man kann auch Wäsche für je $5 waschen und kostenlos Schaufeln für den Beach ausleihen. Wirklich toll!

Lovely campsite with everything you need: hot showers, trash bins, tv room, penguins… Super friendly staff and the shop has very broad selection!

A very lovely campsite. The pitches are laid out with care and are very well-maintained. There is a nice common room with a kitchen, as well as clean, well-kept toilets and showers. Beautiful look out over the river. The Kauri museum nearby is verry worth to see.

Unfortunately had to flag this as negative to grab attention for future travels. It is a beautiful campsite with both the river and beach so close! However we have left at 12am due to heavy rain. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE if there is ANY rainfall you are safer to move along. The water level rose meters within a couple hours. If you stay here in wet weather, please keep an eye on this

Decent campsite with friendly staff. Location is okay, it’s a bit of a walk into the main town.

Should be advertised as no WiFi as it didn’t work at all even in the hotspot areas. Bathrooms were clean enough and location next to the shops was good. Busses are only 50c to get into the main Airlie beach town. $94 unpowered 2 people 2 nights.

Nice campsite right next to a lagoon. The multiple pools are great and the bathrooms are clean. Lots of nice birds around the site. We enjoyed our stay!

Expensive for the location ($59 for 2 people) right next to a busy main road. Nice bathrooms, campsite kitchen could do with some improvements such as dish soap and communal dishes and utensils. The highlight was the pool.

Carpark has 5 freedom spaces. Drinking water available. No toilets or large bins for rubbish. Beautiful sunset when we stayed!

Hands down. One of the best camp site I stayed at, still a work in progress but the owner is super friendly very nice person so relaxing far from the road and feels so remote we only gonna stay a night but decided it was such a nice place i stayed twice for the long weekend I will coming back here in the future.. If I can ask for recommendations maybe some decent solar lights on the toilet and main area. Cheers Nathan

Amazing spot behind the dunes on an incredibly beautiful beach. It got a bit cold at night. We arrived at 4 pm and got the last spot. About 5 vehicles parked outside the designated area; at 11 pm the police drove through the parking lot and then left again. No tickets were issued. The spot is very quiet at night, and the toilets are okay. We'd definitely come back!

Beautiful spot right on the water. Lots of families with kids. The pool seems great, since all the kids were playing there. The grounds are well kept. No phone reception and the Wi-Fi isn't great, but it was perfectly fine for us for one night. The shower costs $1 and was great! Very quiet at night!

We had a great night. It's quiet, and the toilets are very clean. The showers are a bit dirty because the floor is wet and people walk through in their outdoor shoes, but it's not gross. The lights in the parking lot are very bright at night, so you might need a sleep mask. Phone reception is great. Lots of people parked outside the permitted area and didn't get a ticket. There are several laundromats and small takeaways along the road. All in all, a great spot. We'd come back!!

Place was lovely. There’s only two spots and they were filled up as we arrived very late on Friday night. We stayed next to the freedom camping in the parking lot and luckily didn’t get fined. There are toilets, a water fountain and a shower nearby. Very clean but locked at night. Sunrise at the beach was amazing! Locals came around 1am and made some noise for 20 mins. Other than that very calm and nice place to camp.

A lovely campsite set amongst the wineries . A beautiful, quiet setting with just the noise of the birds and the lambs asking for their dinner!The host Ruth was so friendly. The amenities are spotless, a shepherd's hut with a very clean toilet and shower. We stayed one night in a campervan on a powered pitch. Would recommend the campsite for its simplicity and quietness.

Tempat yang sangat besar dengan cukup tempat yang masih tersedia! Pemandangan yang indah dengan matahari terbenam di tepi danau. Ada toilet umum yang tersedia tetapi bisa sibuk. Lingkungan yang tenang, tidak memiliki gangguan dari orang lain.
