If you arrive after 4 p.m., there's nothing left to eat. The place seems primarily suited to self-contained caravans and motorhomes. There's no drinking water, no barbecue, just a few tables, old toilets, and no showers. Paying $15 to sleep in a parking lot seems excessive, especially since the nearby road makes nights very noisy in a rooftop tent. The site is clean, but the $15 is only justified if you use the facilities between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
$15 donation to stay - can tap card, pay cash or scan. Great if just parking up for a night on way through. Toilets 2min walk away and cafe open early in the morning!
Very easy access from the main road, yet surprisingly quiet with minimal noise. The toilets were clean and well maintained, and there’s also a convenient area for washing dishes. A $15 per vehicle per night donation is requested to help maintain the site, which feels very reasonable.
A $15 donation was repeatedly requested for access to the restrooms... Large parking lot, perfect for a camper van. Very small grassy area for tents.
Felt safe and good facilities, close enough to the highway but couldn’t hear it at all. $15 donation very reasonable.
Large parking lot with plenty of space. And a great breakfast next door.
A really nice campground, run with a lot of love. We felt comfortable and safe here. The restrooms were clean, and there was a café where you could have breakfast. Plenty of sites and easily accessible from the highway. We think the $15 donation is very reasonable.
Can confirm it's donation of a minimum of $10 a night, the sign says $15 a night although you need to scan the QR code on the walk way entrance of the carpark using your phone, please donate to keep this overnight stays going, it's so nice for people playing football in the carpark briefly and campers are respectful so far. Toilets are around the back close to the well kept rubbish bins.
Lovely spot for the night, toilets are near the main buildings. There’s spaces for caravans in the middle and regular cars around the edges, very sad to see the caravans taking the regular car spots (up to 8 parks per caravan) as they’re taking places away from people with tents or rooftops! Be better people x
Great place to stay for a night or two gets pretty busy. Had breakfast in the cafe & walked through the free museum, pity the the glass blowing & gift shop's weren't open. No powered sites, water, bin's or dump points!
