Wow, this is a gem. There’s only four spots up here at MOA Hut so we felt very lucky to have booked ahead in good time. The campground is located on a secluded farm following a beautiful drive around the east side of the lake. We felt at home straight away, the hut ticks all the right boxes; cosy, warm, clean (so clean!!), impeccable view of Mount Cook (on a clear day) and very quiet. Couldn’t recommend this place any higher.

It just kept getting better. I was looking at where to stay in the area, and wanting to see mount cook, and noticed there was a campsite with a view and opposite the mountain range. Then...it only had 4 spots so it was more likely to be quiet and encourage people who really want to experience the piece of the mountains. Then...an adventure along a gravel track along a beautiful turquoise lake, no one else on the road. Then...a beautiful camping spot with a perfect view of snow capped mountains.

Only come here if you have a guarantee of good weather. You're isolated, with 30 km of gravel road to contend with. Apparently, the view is superb. But with three days of rain and clouds, we couldn't verify that :( The Wi-Fi is good when it works; a power outage left us without a connection for 24 hours. The hosts are very friendly and do their best to make your stay enjoyable. The cost is expensive at $120.

We do have a generator on site, so all essential services were operating as normal, unfortunately the only thing affected was the Wi-Fi, which does require the main network to be functioning. As a remote high-country location, weather can be unpredictable. The road is a council maintained public road and while we do our best to make this clear before booking we understand this may not suit everyone. Sadly the weather itself is something we can't control. We appreciate your feedback”

Tempat ini benar-benar menakjubkan. wajib untuk semua. Kami telah melakukan perjalanan selama beberapa minggu sekarang dan ini adalah kampus terbaik yang pernah kami kunjungi. pemandangan yang luar biasa dan fasilitas yang sangat nyaman.

Apa tempat yang luar biasa. pemandangan yang tak terkalahkan dan fasilitas yang bagus. saya berharap kami bisa tinggal lebih lama. baik layak berjuang di jalan karang untuk sampai ke sana.

Kami menginap di sebuah rumah mobil sendiri untuk satu malam pada akhir Maret. Dibandingkan dengan jalan karang di Australia, jalan karang masuk dan keluar adalah mimpi! Mengemudi sedikit lebih cepat dan Anda tidak akan merasakan penilaian begitu banyak. Layak mengemudi karena pemandangan adalah fab. Rumah kecil yang menakjubkan dengan kamar mandi dan dapur, tenda, wifi yang bagus. bintang-bintang juga menakjubkan. Suka mendengar sapi-sapi di malam hari. Satu-satunya hal yang membuat saya berhenti adalah fakta bahwa Anda dapat membayar untuk berburu rusa di properti.

Tempat yang indah terpencil, pasti unik dan salah satu tempat favorit kami. jalur karet dapat navigasi jika bumpy di van besar tetapi layak. Kabin ini memiliki semua yang Anda butuhkan dengan barang-barang memasak dll, 2 mandi panas. Terbatas pada 4 tempat jadi merasa sangat intim dan nyaman. Pemilik sangat responsif dan muncul di atas untuk memeriksa kami. Pemandangan yang sangat menakjubkan dari Danau Pukaki, Gunung Cook dan di samping tidak ada polusi cahaya untuk pemandangan yang indah dari Bima Sakti. sangat merekomendasikan!
