Slightly sloping but adorable club members next door. The view of the peak right next door is not bad.

Got there about 5.30 pm, 3 campers already there. You have to park between the signs, spaces for 4. We had to wait till the walkers moved their car to park in the last spot. Not flat. Very calm and no noise at night. Clean toilets and sink.

Wow! Great free campground! Just under the Mt. Manaia where the hike begins. Very quiet, you can hear kiwi there (I had no luck to see them). Felt safe as female solo traveler 😊

Loved This place! Basic with one loo but comfortable enough. Quiet and peaceful at the base of the hike. The club next door is so friendly and welcoming to visitors, we went in for drink and game of pool. Fish and chip shop 10 min walk away was decent too. Overall great free camp for one night

Parking in front of the Mount. Approx. 4 véhicules. Quiet and nice view. Toilets 24h/24h. Clean but no lights. Max 1 night stay. Nice pub near by.

Tempat yang sangat keren!! Kami sendirian untuk malam hari, kami tidak mencoba bar di sebelah tetapi tampaknya sangat ramah. Toilet bersih dan terbuka sepanjang malam, tidak ada sampah dapat di lokasi. Hari berikutnya kami melakukan gunung Manaia hiking dan itu luar biasa! Singkatnya: tempat yang bagus untuk memulai hiking Anda ahaha dan pemandangan yang indah

Sangat tenang, tidak ada di pub di sebelah kami. Lokasi yang sempurna jika Anda melakukan berjalan kaki puncak di pagi hari. Tidak ada teluk yang ditunjuk hanya harus sesuai dengan kendaraan antara dua tanda. Mudah 3 mobil. Toilet di tempat, sangat bersih dan terbuka 24/7

We enjoyed this spot. It is closed to the road, cars passing by through the night didn't bother us at all. We were spoiled with euphonious sounds coming from the nearby club. Two picnic benches and clean toilets. Our stay here was concluded with a very scenic morning walk up Mt. Manaia.
