Akses ke 11km di jalan yang tidak tertutup, salah satu dari 2 toilet ditutup tidak teratur dan yang lain penuh dan tidak dapat digunakan. Tidak ada sinyal data telepon dan saya merasa sedikit terisolasi dan tidak nyaman sebagai pelancong solo. Itu tenang dan damai, itu adalah tempat yang indah.

Huge grassy area for camping, the toilets aren't very clean (cobwebs, partially collapsed roof), the water isn't drinkable, but it does run in the toilets. I had the whole place to myself and felt uncomfortable at times. No phone signal.

Area rumput yang besar dan bengkok.Driv lebih lurus melewati stall pendaftaran dan ada tempat parkir yang aman yang baik.Kedua Catlins dan Morris Saddle Roads adalah yang sangat baik yang halus.Pandangan yang bagus dari keranjang.

Ruang yang sangat besar dan 2 kendaraan untuk malam hari. minat tempat ini selain tenang adalah bahwa itu adalah titik awal dari 2 hiking yang indah. berhati-hatilah untuk tidak memiliki jari Anda digigit oleh keledai di sungai. 😳Salah satu kenangan terbaik kami di NZ

Kampus adalah $ 10 per orang sekarang, air harus dimasak untuk minum, tetapi jika tidak kampus yang sangat bagus dan berjalan-jalan di sungai adalah 10/10!

Heading from Owaka the Google maps took us straight there without an issue. It is a bumpy road in places and the ground is a bit boggy. We were in a 7.5 metre camper and it rained overnight. We got out ok, but choose your spot carefully. We were there on New Year’s Eve and while there were lots of locals it was very quiet. A family oriented campground. There are good hikes in the area. No cell phone coverage. Flushing toilets and plenty of space. Worth the drive to stay a night or two.

Lots of room. Ground may be unsuitable for large campers after rain. At the end of a gravel road.

As others have said google maps takes you completely the wrong way follow the coordinates not the directions given. Road to the campsite was quite bad maybe due to rainfall earlier today. Overall nice camp

Lovely campsite. Large, flat, plenty of space and flush toilets. Direct access to the Catlins River walk. I think the confusion about the campsite being closed is due to the Google map directions. If you follow the route as per Google maps you will end up going down a private entrance and you will see a little house with the words ' The Hut' written over it. This is not correct. Instead, head for the Catlins Road and follow the coordinates (not route) given. The campsite is well signposted and a DOC registration station is clearly seen at the entrance to the campsite.

An official campsite was not apparent. Looked more private. Have turned back again.
