Only neutral review for us… We thought that it was pretty pricey and we had some problems while trying to check in. We booked on the same day and when we arrived, the reception was closed. There were envelopes with the names of people for late check in but ours wasn’t there? We didn’t have a way to know where our camp site was and couldn’t seem to reach anyone to tell us so. No check in procedure in email as well. So we had to just take a random spot which was unfortunate and annoying… 😕

Kota ini indah dan super bagus. tempat berkemah baik-baik saja, tidak ada tempat melihat danau untuk van berkemah, kamar mandi baik-baik saja, hanya 100mb wifi gratis per hari....yang tidak berhasil, situs-situs van berkemah yang sangat kotor.

Tempat yang menakjubkan di danau - orang yang membantu di kantor. dapur bagus dan kamar mandi tidak buruk - mandi tidak super panas tetapi tidak membeku. tempat-tempat indah tepat di danau untuk duduk dengan kopi di pagi hari dan menonton kabut mengalir.

Tempat yang fantastis dengan pemandangan yang menakjubkan Tim sangat ramah, fasilitas yang baik dan harga yang cukup wajar.

Toilet is pretty old, limited hot water shower. It is really loud when the pinecones drop on your motorhome. Waterpoint is at the powered site location, so that's great. Viewing point has really nice views too

Expensive for what you get if camping... Unlevelled powered and unpowered sites. Muddy. Old facilities. Bathrooms/showers in an old barn? Good location to lake hawae i guess if its sunny and nice. Was rainy and cold when we were there and not much to do. Wouldn’t recommend unless you absolutely need to. Stayed at Albert Town campground the night before and honestly felt the exact same minus showers.

Beautiful quiet campsite under the trees. Very scenic next to the lake. It was clean , amenities probably due for a spruce up. Would be great to see a few concrete slabs for parking.

Good campsite, plenty of room for campervans, staff friendly. Toilets clean however found shower pressure not the best, but hot and free. Great spot by a lake.

My favorite site in NZ, I’ve come back 3 times!! Lots of space for non-powered van camping and beautiful lake views. Food truck is great. Kitchen is fine, nothing fancy. But you can’t miss the Secret Sauna & cold plunge into Lake Hawea! Book ahead online directly to secure your slot as it’s been selling out. WiFi doesn’t reach the non powered camping area but that’s fine with me

Amazing campground, stay here over any of the sites in Wanaka! Unpowered sites on the lake near the Secret Sauna were super special. & also book Secret Sauna a few days in advance - we did an 8pm session and were able to see full night sky while having a dip in the lake! Staff were also super friendly and helpful, as we had a small issue with the van which their handyman fixed onsite.
