Amazing location for a freedom camper spot (paid, when staying multiple nights). Enough space, good toilet and amazing (!) shower with warm water. Very convenient as first stop from Auckland or when visiting Hobbiton!

Mudah untuk mengatur izin online, meskipun kami hanya tinggal selama satu malam sehingga ini mungkin tidak diperlukan. Toilet bersih dan mandi hangat gratis! Tidak terlalu sibuk, pemandangan fantastis dan bagus dan tenang. Saya akan sangat merekomendasikan!

Tempat berkemah gratis yang indah di sebelah danau dengan mandi panas gratis!!Kemari di sini selama beberapa hari dengan NSC saya, hanya perlu mendapatkan izin untuk itu yang mudah untuk mengajukan permohonan online.

Beautiful site! Free!! Just get a permit easy peasy online - same as jones landing etc After two nights I guess you had to pay for permits? We stayed two and it was lush! Huge space so lots of parking available with May views of the water. Toilets really nice and clean considering they’re drop toilets - no smell and no flies! Showers are warm and free!! Fairly clean just your usual bugginess and no light so if you want to shower before bed bring a torch! Really nice spot!

Beautiful area by the lake. Quite a lot of locals seem to camp out here long term. Warm showers were glorious!! Toilets in good nick too, rubbish disposal and recycling bins available. Free to camp for the first 2 nights

A very beautiful spot with a lake. The campsite is quite large. However, the toilets are very dirty, almost unusable.

Hot showers!!!!! What a delight after long days hiking and travelling. Access to the river for swimming if you dont mind the cold. Two well maintained clean and not at all smelly long drop toilets. Few guests of the campsite playing music on big speakers but kindly stopped at 9:30pm and didnt resume until 7:30am. Bring mosquito repellent.

Stunning spot to park up. Sooo quiet. Good toilets and showers. No power or drinking water. Definitely recommend.

Saya tinggal di akhir Maret dan itu sangat sibuk. Tidak diketahui bagi saya ketika saya naik, saya telah melakukannya di samping beberapa orang tanpa rumah. Satu di dalam mobil, yang lain di tenda. Mereka tinggal di atas minum dan bermain musik sampai tengah malam. Saya pergi dan menemukan tempat lain yang sama indah dan lebih terpencil di awal hari berikutnya. Lokasi yang menakjubkan. Malu tentang beberapa pria yang tidak peduli.
