Cool and hard walk. It was very cloudy when we got to the top but can imagine that the view would be cool

We did this walk this morning and the directions guided us to the start of some path and it took us almost 3 hours to get up the mountain. The path was really slippery and in some parts quite hard to see. Not too many people might use this track. There is another track up the mountain, starting at the domain, right next to the park in town. This one isn’t as slippery and takes less time. We went down that one. All in all we had a great 5h of walking (climbing) and sweating! You definitely have to wear proper hiking boots!

Great walk, we continued on down the Tui track at the top and came down the long way, a good 4.5 hours total but so worth it.

The walkway is exhausting and steep in parts, but offers a beautiful view from the top. You can see very far in fine weather.

True, it's a very steep and exhausting walk, almost no lookouts and on top there is a transmission tower. Definitely something for fit people.

Great walk!! Real thigh burner.. 3hrs return finished day off at amazing soda springs spa! Highly recommended :)
