The place can be found on Google Maps as Roses Park Camp Ground, highly recommended
Good place to stay. Toilets are available. You can stay well for a night. Nearby are cockroaches that were very loud in the morning.
good place for a night, has some campers there, but enough space for everyone near the Dorrigo National Park unfortunately was a visitor disturbing with his loud music. He started a conversation with me (woman, traveling alone) and offered me beer and joint, was something strange.
One lane opened back up after the landslide at the end of March 2026 so you can access this spot from both directions. Be warned, there was a rooster the night we stayed that really wanted everyone to know the sun was up. I suggest earplugs.
A great spot for an overnight stay; we stayed in our rooftop tent. The toilets are fairly clean, and picnic tables are available. The site is quiet at night. Good phone reception with Telstra. The road leading there was blocked, but some locals let us through. The site is just a few meters from a small shop.
Didn’t stay here. Just wanted to let everyone know you can not get here. 5 min before the free site the road is blocked. Cause of the landslide all though google maps says you can get here. This is all from the Dorrigo direction.
Good campsite to spend a night, got phone service and average internet also flushable toilets. Only bad thing was that someone decided to take a rooster with him so 5am rooster decided it was time to wake up.
A good campsite right near Dorringo National Park. Easily accessible, but close to a busy road. We felt safe. There were toilets and a large sink. No cell phone reception.
