Apparently no camping down the bottom that is a day use area only. Great spot.

Visited here on 13th December 2020. Great spot, peaceful, nice lake. Definitely worth a visit but keep in mind that there are only about 5 campsites by the lake and toilets are pretty bad so be prepared.

Checked out the campground and access, would suggest 4WD access only! But possible for a AWD vehicle! First access road very dusty on dry days, looks peaceful enough! It’s on the list of places we will be camping at..

Booked online -due to Covid19. Was a bit scared by reports of the condition if the road but we managed fine without a 4x4 and a caravan. Just take it slow. I would be a bit more cautious after heavy rains. Stunning spot! Right on the river (other spots available further up the hill too). We loved being in the heart of nature and had people coming and going during our 4 nights. Unfortunately there have been a few people who ruin it for others, leaving loo paper etc ?, cutting down trees and leaving rubbish and broken glass all over. One of the rangers chatted to us and said there were some great developments in the pipeline including growing grass on the sandy areas. Will be back for sure!

Very nice place to stay. Due to covid 19 you need to book online and pay fee for one night.
