Superb location in the countryside, on the edge of a river and a small lake where we swam. Gas BBQ available Wood-fired BBQ Clean sanitary facilities with hot water Dozens of places That day we were all alone. A real happiness Did we see wombats, deer, parrots? red-tailed black and fish. Don't forget to be happy #PascaleandPascaleonholidays
Really enjoying this camp spot. Kids love it, been here 4 nights so far. Plan to stay longer. Hot free showers. Camp fees and parking fees too. Got the annual pass.
Fantastic site. Great for family's, kids can bike ride, plenty of space to kick a ball or run around. Good swimming spot.
Nice site, quiet on the night we stayed but one camper told us it can get packer on some weekends as it's the closest park to Sydney. Remember to factor in $8 park access fee for your car. Note the camp kitchen is usually locked it's a separate hire to the normal camping fees, not a big problem but not really clear on the parks web site. From their photos it looks like it's included and always open.
Nice site, hot showers (for 3 mins) really popular with Aussies at the weekend. 15 mins drive to the nearest store. We paid over the phone $32 before arriving however, there is a pay point at the site where most people paid for $8 parking. The park gates are closed at 7pm so as long as you arrive before this pay the $8. If arriving after, you will need to pay over the phone to obtain the gate code.
We called up to book, we stayed May 21st Sunday and the place was empty - we were one of two campers there. We paid $26.20 for a wicked mini 3 camper car and 2ppl, the lady over the phone gives you a 4digit code for the gates to enter the campsite. Note this code down, she was supposed to send a confirmation email with the code but i didn't receive anything and also the camp area has very bad phone reception. The toilets and showers were in pristine condition. Timed hot showers available. There are walking trails in the area, we saw a pack of kangaroos whilst hiking to Caley's lookout.
