Ottimo campeggio in mezzo alla natura. Ci sono solo 8 campi, prenota in anticipo tramite il sito del governo del Queensland. I bagni sono incredibilmente puliti e completamente puliti, non ci sono docce, è solo un campeggio di cespuglio. In pochi minuti puoi raggiungere vari brevi sentieri escursionistici nella foresta pluviale e alle piattaforme di osservazione del platypus. Abbiamo anche visto tartarughe, kookaburras e laghetti di monitoraggio. Abbiamo avuto solo la ricezione cellulare in Eungella stessa, non qui.

Bellissimo posto, la strada per arrivare qui era un po' dura nella nostra casa motorizzata ma lo abbiamo fatto.

Siamo stati qui nel maggio 2024. Eungella significa terra nelle nuvole. Così è bagnato e più freddo di diversi gradi rispetto a Mackay. Questo è un campeggio. I siti sono piuttosto vicini fianco a fianco e ci sono solo due luoghi ibridi. Ma ci siamo seduti nel nostro camper e abbiamo osservato un platypus nel fiume attraverso le finestre delle auto. Che compensa molto. Tuttavia abbiamo lasciato il più presto possibile per trovare un luogo asciutto e più lussuoso.

Buon campeggio, facile da individuare i platypuses e qualche bella foresta pluviale nelle vicinanze per guardare gli uccelli. abbiamo anche visto alcuni wallabies di roccia saltare intorno vicino al sentiero Poiché questo è un sito di campeggio del parco è necessario prenotare in anticipo.

Wow! Toller Platz direkt am Fluss mit den Schnabeltieren. 3 Aussichtspunkte innerhalb 1km Entfernung zum Schnabeltier entdecken. Abfahrt könnte aufgrund der Steigung für sehr große Mobile schwierig sein.

It is a nice little camp with a lot to see around. We came in the afternoon and saw a few platypus from the viewing deck. It is a rainforest area so be aware that there are mosquitoes and leeches around. We did the walk in the morning and saw some platypus in the river again. For two people it was 14$.

Book in advance! No reception! Ranger come to check. Clean toilet :) In the middle of the nature, lots of animal noises, unfortunately lots of mosquitos and if you do the walk be careful about the leechs. They attacked my fiancé but we saw lots of birds and platypus :) Welcome to the rainforest.

We hadn't booked and the computer ?️ wasn't working due to the storm ⛈️ and the rain ☔️ ?️. Luckily a guard allowed us to stay anyway. Beautiful place by the river. We slept like kings. Not a sound except that of nature. Toilets ? clean. Watch out for black ? snakes Watch out ⚠️ leech ?. Tested for you it hurts and it bleeds. We saw plenty of platypus even from the deck. There are platforms set up to see them. You have to be patient. The best time: at sunrise ?. The light is fabulous. Pascal & Pascal ??

Lovely and peaceful spot. Toilets fine. Camp by the riverside for evening and morning wildlife: we saw platypus, turtles, an echidna and hunting kingfishers. Also heaps of fireflies just after sunset, and so many stars! Book in advance through government NP website.

Love this place, spotted cute platypus in the morning from our tent. We have our own hanging shower, we used boiled water to have hot shower. Be aware of the leeches when you walk into the rainforest across the river (they really love me, but not my hubby?).
