Abbiamo amato questo posto così tanto che ci siamo soggiornati lì due volte! C'è un sacco di spazio, un blocco igienico con acqua corrente e una zona di picnic con fontana d'acqua. Non ci sono docce e non c'è molto segnale telefonico. Apparentemente ci sono croci nel fiume ma non abbiamo visto nessuno (fai attenzione!). Abbiamo provato a pescare lungo il fiume (per fortuna nessuna fortuna) e siamo andati sulla spiaggia per guardare il tramonto che era bello. È meglio prenotare online prima di arrivare lì - penso che sia libero rimanere lì per 48 ore.

Stayed last night. Plenty of room. Felt safe. Water, toilets and play equipment for the kids. We did register with Council prior but there’s a QR code on board at entrance. No shops of any kind. Enjoy

It's really great that the town is so friendly and welcoming to campers. The site is very well-maintained and quiet, and I highly recommend it. Unfortunately, there's no Telstra signal, but there are toilets and trash cans, plenty of picnic tables, and a BBQ. Be sure to reserve in advance.

Free but needs to be booked through Townsville council website. Flushing toilets, fires allowed, drinking water, playground, lots of covered seating, electric bbqs. It's a big space but very popular so still fairly full. Fishing from boat ramp next to camp site or head north along the beach to the gully. Crocs in area, very poor phone signal

We loved staying here! We stayed for two nights - you have to register with the Council however very limited reception on site so recommend doing before arrival :) no noise as its far off the highway big grassy area - might be more crowded on weekends

Ottimo posto libero campeggio! Comodità molto pulite, bbq e tavoli da picnic. Molto tranquillo e un sacco di fauna selvatica come canguri, uccelli e se fortunati crocs. Piccolo segnale telefonico a seconda della vostra posizione (Telstra).
