Stayed here on 2 occasions now and still love it. Great views and the start point for so many amazing hikes (St Mary’s peak is a must). We saw emus in the campsite and wild goats at the start of the trails which was a fun surprise. Hot showers, bbq’s, paid washing machines and easy access to water. Although I love this spot, I would definitely recommend camping in some of the sites along Brechina Gorge!
Great place to stay huge site but powered, watered camp spots only $25 free hot showers. Full little mini mart onsite and we got use of the pool at the lodge too!
Nice place to stay,BBQ areas with sink, clean toilets and showers.
Amazing area! The staff were great, really friendly and looked like they really enjoyed their work, and walks and tours were fantastic as well. One of the best places we’ve stayed in Australia. Make sure you book a scenic flight, it will blow you away!
Pool still closed. Other than that a good, big, busy campsite. You choose your own spot which means you have to find a new one in case you leave for the day with a van for the next example which was a bit disappointing to us.
Very overpriced for a bush camp, amenities were dirty and basic. Also had groups of people hogging the BBQ area and using all the power (didn’t want to share). The location is great as most of the walks are based from the visitor centre.
Good campground, but really expensive for what you get. Clean bathrooms. Pool was closed because of Covid, but nobody tell you or say it to you before booking, you have to find out out on your own. When check out is at 10, than it would be great when they don't clean the bathroom at 9 and a lot of persons have to wait for a shower in front of it. The men in the reception was really nice.
Great campground, very spacious and relaxing forestry areas. Most of the reception staff are friendly and helpful. While we were there, 2 of the bbq/kitchen areas were taken over by grey nomads and another by a family who were also using the power for thier caravans, very inconsiderate, nothing was said to them the whole time. Other than that a really nice experience.
Paid for unpowered 2ppl. Had a small discount for having to wait 5 minutes at the counter. Friendly and helpful staff, nice campground
Peaceful camping in the Flinders Ranges NP - what a best way to wake up in the forest with kangaroos and emus right at your doorstep?! No camp kitchen but BBQs and sink for dishwashing. Showers and toilets are cleaned every day which is great as it can be quite busy.
