We spontaneously spent a night here after being evacuated from our free campsite due to the fire risk. The good thing was that we were able to book the campsite quite spontaneously and late (around 8 pm). The toilets and showers were decent. The bad thing was that it wasn't good value for money.
Our family had a great weekend at Bimbi Park. Stayed on an unpowered site without any issues. Well equipped camp kitchen and outdoor bbq’s - also offered are special meal nights eg. Fish and chips and Wood oven pizza. Site runs off tank water, so the shower tokens limit overuse !! 3 mins is ample time to have a wash. We saw Koalas and lots of native birds - bonus seeing the gang-gang flock and an azure kingfisher. Plenty of activities for the kids and also quiet retreat for those without.
The park is designed for families, and we saw several koalas, which was really great. The toilets and showers are a 5-minute walk away and unfortunately not clean. An unpowered campsite cost $60 for two people, which is a lot considering the state of the facilities.
Very expensive for a unpowered site 55$. Toilet is ok but need to pay for shower. Did not see any koalas.
OMG, we're not camping for Wi-Fi! It's being criticized for nothing. This campsite is the most wildlife-rich we've stayed at in Australia over the last five weeks. There are koalas everywhere, wandering around, and there's a long trail to the fort where you still encounter koalas, kangaroos, and many different kinds of birds. A MUST-DO if you love nature more than Wi-Fi.
good for family but $40 for a spot of grass is pretty overpriced. no Vodafone signal but wifi at reception. Full camp kitchen, hot showers but have to pay for coins to use them
Overpriced. No cell signal with Optus and advertised wifi at reception did not work. Family oriented campground with parks, farm animals roaming the grounds, lots of possible entertainements. Ideally located near Cape Oatway.
