We really liked it, even though it's basic and a bit shabby, or at least looks a bit dated. The toilets and showers are spotlessly clean! It's in a lovely spot on the beach and wonderfully quiet. There's a dump station, but no fresh water. Check-in didn't go smoothly. We arrived late and only had the code for the barrier, but no pitch number. Luckily, it wasn't fully booked. Highly recommended for 1-2 nights. :)
Excellent old school caravan park right on the beach. Very peaceful camping, like it should be.
Great sport right at the beach. The showers and toilets were very clean and the host is very nice!
Awesome Camping Spot. Our spot was right at the beach and we watched the sunset from there. Clean and hot showers plus a nice barbeque place.
Came in late, so can't speak much of the grounds themselves, but the man who checked us in was extremely helpful in showing us around the park. Showers and bathrooms are super clean, great water pressure and very hot water available if desired. Spots are right on the shore, tide comes all the way up to the wall. It was windy at night so water was spraying over the wall. Not a big deal, just make sure your windows are closed if you're next to the ocean!
We really liked this place. Powered site right at the beach. Clean shower facilities.
Excellent spot to stay for a night! Simple amenities but clean and right at the beach with beautiful views!
Nice park to camp in. This is located on crown land. There were a couple of people when we came to camp. The camping spots are small, we were lucky that we were the only ones in a tent. Basic cooking facilities with a portable oven and hotplate. Has a kettle also. This is inside the laundry, dont expect anything flash. It has a table thst seats 4 people. Washers and dryers and a clothes line availble. $4 for washing clothes. There are also tubs. The toilets are clean. The disabled toilets are within the mens and ladies toilets, just ask reception if you require your carer (of opposite sex) to be with you. Something they didnt plan when they built this place. It is right on the beach, and it does get windy due to lack of trees on the property. One side you see ocean, the other side are farms. The only downside I will mention is the toilet lights at night which glare into the tent. For some reason also, there was music playing all night in the toilets. We did mention this to the manager who was kind enough to turn the music off the following day. Not sure why music needs to be playing in toilets in the first place, as it takes away from the serenity of the place, and getting up in the middle of the night the last thing you want is to be hearing music whilst using the facilities at 2am. There is bore water here, so the toilets are stained with the minerals that come out. Overall a nice place to stay and relax at. There is a very old ping pong table and pool table also. You can also borrow DVD'S and books from the laundry area. $24 a night for an unpowered site for 2 people in a tent.
