Travel time April/May: Registration at the harbormaster's office (until 5 pm), after that by phone. Very friendly, but despite its proximity to Auckland, not very popular in the off-season (a total of 1 motorhome and 2 caravans). The campsite is further south than the app indicates. NZD 35 per person is reasonable for one night.

Friendly staff, quiet location and awesome view on auckland. Just think 35/person is expensive (showers 2$).

Best place to visit Auckland!!! Just 10’ ferry to CBD. Showers and WC (not working from 6-8:30 am!) Only one thing negative: the traffic to get there. So better if you are heading north.

Very quiet camping place, we arrived here first day of our trip. Friendly lady at the checkin, toilets were very clean. Very easy to get to the city center using the ferry. Spatious spots. We could check out when we wanted to since it was not so busy. Would recommend for a quick visit to Auckland 😌

This is the PERFECT spot if you want to visit Auckland and need a place for your campervan/motorhome. Also perfect of you hired a van and need to get things sorted before returning it in Auckland. Wonderful view of the skyline. We visited early December and stayed two nights. 1st night 2 other campers, 2nd night 1 other. Facilities are clean, 2$ for hot shower, also laundry available. The ferry to downtown Auckland literally starts at the campground and takes only 10 mins. 100% recommend!!

Bella vista ma se l'area erbosa è chiusa, sei letteralmente parcheggiato nel mezzo di un parcheggio con altre auto e autobus che vengono e vanno tutto il tempo che lo rende costoso per un ambiente non particolarmente bello o tranquillo. È anche un extra $ 30 per utilizzare il blocco igienico e un altro $ 2 per una doccia breve.

Soggiornato 1 notte, il sito sembra molto rigoroso ma ho compilato il modulo online il giorno prima e mi hanno addebitato solo $ 30 (non $ 40 per breve preavviso), non ha addebitato il $ 30 extra per l'accesso alla zona doccia / lavanderia ma le strutture sono ancora in funzione. Bella vista della città e $ 8 biglietto per adulti al centro della città in un modo. Il personale è super bello e ci sono pattuglie di sicurezza durante la notte. Solo un altro camper quando sono rimasto, un posto così tranquillo per essere così vicino al CBD!

Se vuoi andare lì il fine settimana, l'ufficio non è aperto - ma puoi parlare con la sicurezza per effettuare il check-in.

Non capisco gli altri commenti. Questo sito è davvero bello : c'è una buona vista sul centro della città, i bagni e le docce sono molto puliti, il personale è così dolce. E è anche molto calmo e tranquillo. I prezzi sono ragionevoli e è solo $ 2 per docce calde (ma quelle fredde sono gratuite) come in altri campeggi.
