The place is right by the sea and that’s cool. Lots of families on the beach staying until night. There were people blasting loud music all night. Lots of mosquitoes. Not worth the money — don’t come.

Quiet place Clean toilet with paper and soap, it's cleaned in the morning at 7 a.m.!

Non consiglierei questo a nessuno. $ 17 a notte, e ci siamo svegliati alle 11:20pm da un ragazzo che ci batteva il corno e quando siamo usciti ha chiesto se volevamo rimanere perché stava chiudendo la porta. Ovviamente vogliamo rimanere qui tutte le nostre tende erano chiuse e è quasi mezzanotte. I bagni sono a breve distanza a piedi, ma sono composti, ma un esercito di mosche sono lì e si scagliano quando si apre il coperchio e atterrano su di te quando si siede sul bagno.

Abbiamo prenotato il posto per una notte online. I bagni sono 3min a piedi, puliti. Non c'è luce durante la notte. Intorno alle 9 pm un ranger ha bussato alle nostre finestre e ha controllato la prenotazione. Poi ha bloccato le porte al terreno. Siamo stati lì da soli. posto bello :)

A very nice quiet place, we were alone to enjoy this beautiful view of the sea.

Stayed here one night last night, were the only campers. So, so many cars though with happy dog walkers, was empty after 7pm. Gates are closed by security at 9pm apart from in winter. Toilets and water fountain some way away from carpark, didn’t use. We did the Jubilee Walk from here in the morning, was lovely. Good for a night! Cornwallis entrance is about 300m past the GPS location, camped at where the GPS said and was woken in the morning by the ranger. The actual spot looked amazing, at least we know for next time

What an awesome spot. The entrance is about 500m past the app location. We loved it here and patrol came around and checked before locking gate. Kiwis singing in bush through the night kept kids excited.

Gates were not locked at 9pm as said on gates. People doing donuts in the night. People being loud in the morning at 6am walking dogs. Again gate should have been locked until 7am. Not sure what we paid for when anyone was seemingly able to come and go at any time. Lovely spot but Council has a lot to answer for. ?
