Una fattoria super bella con un proprietario molto bello! Non capisco le recensioni negative. L'approccio non è stato un problema affatto con il mio furgone. È una strada di grano, ma ben segnalata dove devi andare. Ho semplicemente parcheggiato sul posto prenotato senza "controllare". Nel pomeriggio ho incontrato il proprietario e mi ha mostrato la fattoria e mi è stato permesso di nutrire i vitelli con lui. Ho prenotato il sito alimentato in modo da avere accesso alla doccia calda :)

I showed up mid afternoon to get settled in. It was very unclear where to go and there was no one around. The amenities promised weren’t present. I had a large campervan and I was travelling solo. When I got to the top of a hill where the powered site was signed, it was almost impossible to turn around. When I tried it was unsafe. There is no number or way to contact the owners. I felt very stressed and uncomfortable and decided to not stay the night. I wouldn’t recommend a powered site.

Abbiamo avuto un ottimo tempo qui. Jeff era un padrone di casa meraviglioso (insieme ai adorabili cuccioli Arthur e Mo), molto disponibile e accogliente. Abbiamo visto tutti i vitelli molto carini da vicino durante il tempo di alimentazione. Bella proprietà. Anche visto un arco d'arco doppio quando siamo arrivati per la prima volta lì. Camminato alle cascate anche. Anche ottenuto alcune uova fresche che erano deliziose! Consigliamo vivamente e rimanere qui di nuovo.

Bellissimo sito ! Geoff e Lynne erano bellissimi. Nella nostra prima serata ci è stato dato un tour intorno alla fattoria. Incontrato i vitelli, agnelli, polli e naturalmente Arthur e Mo Mo (i cani). Geoff ci ha dato ottimi consigli sulla nostra escursione alle cascate di Hunna (che è mozzafiato). Le strutture erano pulite e come descritto con acqua calda !!! Il nostro soggiorno si sentiva molto personale rimarrà sicuramente di nuovo in futuro. Non poteva raccomandare abbastanza!

Sito rurale, belle viste. Bella famiglia che lo gestisce. Essi stanno aggiornando i siti anche e senza dubbio sarà il miglior campeggio intorno! Grazie.

Bella zona tranquilla, pulita e sicura per il campeggio. Ottimo ambiente e molto scenico. Ottimo per incontrare Jeff, Lynn e Sam. 100% raccomandato!

This camp site, is hands down the best unpowered campsite we have been to so far in the north island. It is so beautiful we stayed an extra night. Both evenings we were the only ones there and Jeff, the owner, greeted us and made sure we were all set. On the property, all the amenities were clean and lots of flat spots next to fire pits (wood provided). You can take the provided kayaks down the creek to the top of Hunua falls (which is right next to where you’re parked up). Absolutely stunning!!

What an amazing spot next to the river great host and could not believe how beautiful it was

best campsite close to auckland! went to unpowered site next to the river. toilets, shower and host came down to let us know things to look for (eels, glowworms etc) also have fire pits available for use! would definitely come again. came in tents rather than camper!
