Do Not be fooled by the pictures on the website. This caravan park is atrocious, filthy kitchen and disgusting showers. To be honest I don’t think they’ve been cleaned since 1993. The kitchen stinks like old rancid cooking oil, mold and rotting food. The kitchen held some treasures that they shouldn’t have! Eg hair mixed with rat feces, flies stuck to fly strips on the ceiling and a dried fish skin. The showers and laundry are disgusting, you’re cleaner not having a shower

Peaceful spot and lovely fellow campers, but unfortunately the facilities were poor. Cold showers only, the button on the outside is supposed to give you hot water but none of them seem to work. The state of one of the shower blocks was appalling, water logged, covered in dirt and people’s body hair. I gave the benefit of the doubt the first morning but the next morning it was exactly the same. Doesn’t seem as though there’s anyone checking/cleaning the facilities. The kitchen was good.

Abbiamo preso un'ultima decisione di andare in campeggio durante il nuovo anno e, naturalmente, tutti i campeggi principali sono stati prenotati. Siamo stati così piacevolmente sorpresi di quanto sia buono questo campeggio. I campeggi erano grandi e piani e drenati bene (sempre importante durante i giorni piovosi d'estate!), le comodità erano pulite e pulite, c'era un sacco di parcheggio sicuro per la nostra barca e la piscina era un bonus aggiunto. Abbiamo avuto un 4yr vecchio e 9 mesi con noi e si è sentito al sicuro.

Very enjoyable stay. We had a few weeks stay on and off and enjoyed every minute. Very congenial hosts. Thanks Chris and Fraser

Very rustic camp but amenities very clean. The hot pools are open to public during certain hours but campers can swim before they open. Pools emptied & cleaned every night & temperature delicious. Check ahead during March thru Sept as very busy with kiwifruit pickers! Thanks Chris & Fraser for a lovely stay.
