Molto bella strada, magnifiche viste in alto sul lago, escursioni nella foresta tropicale, attraversamento di alcuni villaggi.

Bellissimo! guidato in una van 2WD in pioggia dopo una settimana di forti precipitazioni senza problemi.

Great road taking you through authentic NZ. Lots of horses all around, old cowboys kind of houses, pretty forest. Any type of car can make it through this road, just fill up gas and drive carefully.

Drove this road in a small non 4wd car. Saw everything from campervans to bicyclists using the road. It’s very narrow in some parts, and you have to go pretty slow over the gravel/unpaved sections. The road is scenic, and the villages along the way are small, a bit in disrepair, and very quiet. Everything has a middle of nowhere feel to it, and yes there are wild horses just wandering around. Make sure you do the big rata tree walk and check out Lou’s lookout. The great walk also has a great lookout.

Guidalo gli ultimi due giorni dopo la pioggia. La strada è in buone condizioni, almeno meglio delle strade più grigie dell'isola meridionale. Lo consiglierei per una macchina / camper con 4WD, non vale la pena con una grande casa motorizzata a causa di molte parti strette. Si dovrebbe pianificare con 4-5 ore solo per guidare da Wairoa a Murupara. È una buona avventura per tutti coloro che sono alla ricerca di una zona solitaria sull'isola settentrionale.

The road is beautiful but one must be careful especially if it rains! And beware there are wild horses on the road! What to do if you have time it's a jungle!

Bellissimo drive jut essere attenti è la strada della griglia per la maggior parte di esso e può essere pericoloso! Grande stop off punti lungo la strada ma riempire il carburante prima di andare! Lake wakiremoana è un must!
