Very quiet, older campsite- but toilets were sparkling clean (and seemed quite new). Nice walks around the area, and was well sheltered from the wind! Had running water outside to do our dishes and we had 3 bars of 4G with 2degrees. We booked online, but can pay cash when you get there- booked same day as it was so quiet.

Really quiet, very pretty spot. Toilets seem to be very new, and were really really clean when we stayed. $20 for two people seemed really reasonable, and it was nice that you can pick your own spot. Nice walk around the bay, and had full 4G signal with 2degrees. Probably best for one or two nights, as not much to do but walk/swim- but we enjoyed ourselves.

This campground is such a gem! The views are spectacular. It’s quiet, small and there’s a brand new toilet block. FInding the Pigeon Bay Walkway is difficult to find because private landowners have restricted access — but you just walk all the way past the boat club and it runs along the shore. There’s a sign warning you to stay within 30 metres of the shore or else you will be trespassing. Just climb the fence and walk along the ridge. It’s so special and worth the effort!

Wow what a spot, so peaceful and we were the only ones there. There are many static caravans there but we still had the whole place to ourselves. Very isolated, great for those wanting peace and quiet. Cleanest toilets ever!

Such a beautiful spot to camp for the night! We parked right by the water’s edge and it was really peaceful. There are clean toilets and an outdoor sink. Good phone signal as well. Would really recommend spending a night here!

No water! No electricity!

Meraviglioso posto tranquillo con una grande vista, tuttavia nessuna acqua corrente nel bagno (anche se c'è una vasca idromassaggio) ma c'era un tappo fuori. nessun tubi evidenti così ha dovuto scartare la spazzatura a Akaroa. nessun segnale telefonico sul campo.

Realmente bello sito tranquillo. Non molto in giro per fare altro che ammirare la vista, quindi probabilmente buono per una notte. Buona selezione di punti sotto gli alberi dall'acqua. Abbiamo prenotato online ma potrebbe essere stato più facile da fare in quanto c'era un sacco di spazio. Basico ma pulito servizi igienici. Acqua ma nessun'altra struttura. Se sei in un camper più grande o casa motorizzata, evitare la strada centrale e procedere alla strada della baia di colombe, la strada centrale non è adatta per i camper ma non c'è nessun segno che affermi questo in alto.

Il mio amico e io abbiamo soggiornato lì una notte ed è stato fantastico! Piccolo campeggio carino. bella vista sulla baia e zona molto rilassante.
