Il campeggio si trova tra la ferrovia e la strada A1, quindi è rumoroso ma sempre il benvenuto per un sonno sulla strada.

Good spot to break up the drive to Chch for the night. No toilet. Road noise was negligble.

Everybody seems to be afraid of this place. Not sure why. The negatives: a bit of noise coming from the road but acceptable and no toilets. The positives: the place is large enough for 15 to 20 vehicles so you are almost certain to find a place (today, we are alone with the many birds) and there are two tables. It would only be muddy after big rains but under normal circumstances, absolutely no issue (gravel in the center and grass on the side).

Based on the reviews, I was expecting a real nightmare! In reality, there were tables for eating and a bit of greenery. It's true, there's no toilet... Beyond that, only one person was parked there, and it was safe. As for the road noise I read about, it wasn't bothersome!

Nice spot to break up our trip, road noise didn't bother us. It's a pitty the track to the river is covered in toilet paper and 💩!! No wonder we lose so many FC areas when they are treated like this 😡

È venuto a sfidare l'uccello serial killer, ci ha semplicemente sconvolto con un grido nessun progresso oggi. esperienza complessiva 7/10 TIL la prossima volta uccellino uccello

Zona di riposo nell'erba. C'è spazio per 10-15 auto e 2 tavoli da picnic. Il posto è tranquillo, anche se si trova sul lato della strada. nessun bagno. consiglio :)

Semplice fermata di riposo sul lato della strada. Bagno pulito. Rimasi qui 1 notte per rompere la guida da Christchurch-Kaikoura. Nessuna osservazione di uccelli uccisi!
