Beautiful place to relax and unwind. Stayed 2 nights paid nothing for a permit online. Alot of places to park.

Bella vista panoramica della spiaggia per svegliarsi ma molto rumoroso come proprio accanto a una strada principale. lavaggio dei bagni con lavanderia. tocca per lavare i piatti, non bere acqua. stazione di smaltimento. Deve avere un permesso presentato al consiglio prima di campeggio.

Una bella vista e destra sulla spiaggia, ma anche su una strada affollata. Un sacco di vetro rotto e pile di spazzatura. Non è stato pulito in un po ', come un sacco di rifiuti sepolti nella sabbia. Una delle peggiori spiagge che sono stata in NZ. Sono felice che non ho donato il pieno $ 18 come raccomandato. In base a questa posizione, suggerirei al consiglio di Gisborne di scoraggiare i visitatori fuori camper. Ha così tanto potenziale. indossare scarpe. Non portare bambini o animali. Non buono.

An amazing stopover on the coast. Toilets and rubbish with permit. So close to Gisborne but road busy with logging. Stay 2 nights and chill.

Closed outside of daylight savings, gorgeous drive along the coast though.

There are two zones - one from Sept to April and one from 26 Dec to 1 Feb. It isn’t clear where the second zone starts so we parked close to the toilets (and others were parked further along than us) but were approached by a friendly council officer in the morning to tell us we were in the wrong place. So our advice is to stay on the other side of river to be sure.

Not a good place to turn up at if you are an overseas visitor just traveling independtly, having to book these places needs too much foresight and is too difficult to plan if you have only limited time.

This is a lovely spot, but not great if you want a quiet nights sleep. The logging trucks were roaring past all night.

Beautiful spot! Gorgeous sunset! We stayed closer to the point end. It's basically a thin strip between the road and beach, road very busy due to time of year probably. Still, very lucky to turn up and get a space for 2 families on New Year's Day!
