Siamo arrivati alle 8:30 e c'erano ancora molti spazi disponibili. La strada era illuminata, quindi siamo stati in grado di prendere la strada della griglia senza problemi. I bagni sono alla stazione benzina vicina. Nessun problema durante la notte.

Plenty of spaces, but was busy by the time we arrived. Sheltered from the main road, careful if you arrive in the dark as the ground is pretty uneven in places. Good cafe onsite which opens at 0800.

Great place to stop over. Plenty of parking on grass if carpark area is full. Nice quite spot behind the museum, which opens early with friendly staff serving up great coffee and food.

Toilet with code, impossible to use

Buon ampio spazio e molto freddo. Ti senti incastrato dietro il museo militare e sono in realtà circondati dalla natura dall'altra parte. Bel posto per fermarsi in quanto è piuttosto tranquillo e un sacco di stazioni a benzina. bagno pubblico è tutto a pochi minuti a piedi. segnale telefonico era disponibile a livelli decenti.

Facile da parcheggiare ovunque sull'erba nell'area del campeggio libertà, bagni pubblici molto puliti accanto alla stazione benzina.

Una zona tranquilla e grande (credo per circa 20 motorhomes) campeggio gratuito con bagni puliti dall'altra parte della strada dalla stazione benzina.

Great spot with toilets not too far across the road. Didn't go to the museum but I would stop by and try it out on my way back through. Great location for exploring Tongariro Nat Park and Lord of the Rings locations

Not the most cosy location but good for one night. I was there with a few other campers. Quiet. Toilers are across the street next to Caltex. The one on the site ate locked (from the museum).

Good location with a great mountain view. There are toilets, but it's a bit noisy with the train and road nearby.
