Spot is nice especially with the waihi falls but no phone signal and the toilets were full of mosquitos. Also a bit weird to get there but we were alone.

Good views. 2 min from waterfall. Not a lot of parking and no markings. Hole toilets but clean, no water. 2 big tables in the shadow . No phone signal so download map before

Absolutely freezing this time of year, woke up to frost on the windows and grass but wow what a gorgeous place! And the frost did add to its beauty I will say… decent toilets open all night, small picnic area, and a MUST DO short walk to Waihi Falls. A true NZ bush experience, no service just the sound of sheep, birds, and waterfalls.

Guidare fuori Hwy2 è attraverso non particolarmente ispirante campagna agricola e foresta di pini. Ma abbiamo avuto l'intero sito per noi stessi che era bello svegliarsi a. Le cascate stesse sono belle - impostato in un piccolo resti di foresta originale. Sembra abbastanza nuotabile anche se sarei attento come ci sono un sacco di paddock pecore in alto. Nessun segnale telefonico abbastanza fino a quando non sei di nuovo vicino alla strada in modo preload intrattenimento 'se questo è quello che sei in'.

Ottimo posto, le persone sono venute tutto il giorno ma nessuno è rimasto per la notte, i bagni sono stati puliti e ci sono tavoli per il picnic per mangiare, nessun segno così abbondante spazio (nessun segnale telefonico)

Piccolo parcheggio (spazio per circa 5 auto) con un nuovo blocco igienico. Outhouses con carta igienica e dispensatori di sapone, nessuna acqua. Ci sono banchi da tavolo coperti. Il percorso per Waihi Falls è, a differenza di ciò che è stato descritto nei commenti precedenti o direttamente sul sito, né ripido né particolarmente lungo. Ci ha preso non più di 3 minuti sulle scale. L'acqua non sembrava molto pulita, quindi abbiamo deciso di non nuotare qui.

What an unbelievably beautiful place! The waterfall is 10 mins walk from the car park and you can swim in it. Best to check online before arriving re if the algae levels are safe as can be affected by heavy rain and there’s no signal at the site. If travelling from the south, it’s a much longer gravel road (20mins) to get to it, but if then leaving north it’s only about 5mins. Totally worth it for the falls. Suggested to not swim alone though- so as a solo traveller I just accompanied others.

Easy gravel road to get here. Stayed here to make the trip more worthwhile as the waterfall only takes 10-15mins. Good toilet although door doesn’t lock. Undercover benches… just us and one other van. Council came in the morning to measure the area but were friendly and happy with us camping self contained.

Ottimo posto per una notte!! La caduta è molto impressionante! Siamo stati da soli lì. I bagni sono molto puliti.2-3km totale di strada di grigio ma non difficile e era facile da guidare con il nostro campervan. Nessun dato. Non so se l'acqua è ok per bere. Grazie per le persone che mantengono questo parcheggio pulito
