Great place! Bonus of being the only campervan due to winter. Kim the owner very pleasant and helpful. V quiet here, just the dawn chorus which was fab. Clean facilities. Would recommend

Siamo venuti e tutto era chiuso. ci è stato detto da una signora molto poco amichevole nessuna vacanza che non era chiaramente vero (non importava affatto, nessuna persona) La porta era chiusa, nessuna informazione sul sito
“Ciao siamo molto sorpresi dal tuo commento sopra. Non siamo sicuri dove hai formato la tua opinione che non c'era una sola persona qui? I nostri ospiti o vanno a lavorare o esplorare il Far North sia di giorno che di notte. Abbiamo avuto un NO VACANCIA segno, una porta chiusa per questo motivo e la ragione per cui non si poteva prenotare sul sito è stato perché eravamo completamente prenotati!!!! La maggior parte dei nostri ospiti sono stati soggiornare da 5 giorni a 6 mesi. Si suggerisce che si prenota in anticipo soprattutto nella stagione di picco per assicurarsi che si arriva a rimanere dove si desidera. Troviamo davvero deludente che si scrive una recensione così negativa perché ti consigliamo che siamo stati completamente prenotati ma hai il coraggio di suggerire che abbiamo mentito a te.”
We stayed at Kim's campsite for the last two nights. Kim is very helpful and friendly. The campsite is very clean. If you have a reservation you can open the gate at the entrance and drive through.

“Not sure who wrote this review but we certainly are not closed. We did do some maintenance in September which took a couple of days and ONLY for those days didn't accept guests in the Park. It is disappointing that people write incorrect information on this Site.”
Such a warm welcome at Kim’s place. She was very communicative prior to our arrival and we felt very well looked after (hygiene and Covid protocols were ?). We were able to have a hot shower, do some laundry, refill our drinking water and have a peaceful night’s rest. We also took a BBQ down to Taipā Beach and had a swim and dinner by the beach (20 mins’ drive).

Gate is shut, bookings only. No kitchen as such just a sink outside and a toaster, microwave etc in the laundry room. Washing machine small runs in 4$ per load honesty box. Wifi not going. A bit noisy with traffic and dogs barking. Lovely grounds and parking for campers. Playground for kids unfortunately pool closed .
“Hello thanks for your review. We are a bit surprised at your comment re the noise as we only receive positive comments on how quiet it is here as per other reviews on this Site and elsewhere. We certainly don't have barking dogs. We were unaware that you had an issue with Wifi to the best of our knowledge it was working fine when you stayed. We also advertise our pool as seasonal on all websites and apps. We used to have it open throughout Winter but in 13 years no one has wanted to swim in it at that time of the year.”
Fantastic stay at a wonderful place. Very friendly and helpful owner who managed to fit us in at the last minute at a very busy time (had to change plans, due to gas fridge fault we needed power). Lovely facilities that are kept clean and tidy. Play ground for the kids and a swimming pool available for use. Beautiful grounds that are well kept.

Wonderful stay. Very helpful and nice owner. She went out of her way to help us. Good clean facilities! Very recommendable. Good place to stay when doing the Harrison’s Cape Runner, which is a great (and cheap!) tour.
